(Optimus POV)
I transformed with Destiny in my sparking hold, it's been a long time since I use the hold. Yet she seemed to be accepting it all the same. I probably should have Ratchet do a test on Destiny.
Destiny didn't make a sound as I spoke, "Hello Agent Fowler, to what do we owe this visit?"
Agent Fowler explained to me, "Optimus Prime, this is a problem that we need to discuss with a witness."
"Who is?" Ratchet pressed, I looked at Fowler still.
Fowler told me, making Destiny tense in my sparkling hold, "The witness for the orphanage."
I automatically replied, "I do not know where the witness is. Thus I can not help you with your search."
My team nodded in agreement to my response, Agent Fowler sighed, "Prime, just tell us her name. We need to know where she is because the lawyer for Becky Lancy just moved the case to the end of the month."
I didn't feel her relaxed until I spoke, "I do not believe I can do that."

(Destiny POV)
I heard Optimus automatically reply, "I do not know where the witness is. Thus I can not help you with your search."
The others seemed to be nodding with Optimus as Agent Fowler sighed, "Prime, just tell us her name. We need to know where she is because the lawyer for Becky Lancy just moved the case to the end of the month."
I remembered Mrs. Lancy whipping me and hurting me, would I have to face her? I finally relaxed when Optimus spoke, "I do not believe I can do that."
"And why not?" Agent Fowler rose his voice making me scoot closer to Optimus calming spark.
Optimus walked closer to Fowler, moving me slightly, "For I believe the witness should choose to face their own fear or stay hidden."
I wanted to tell him I was ready, but I didn't want to face her alone. Agent Fowler voice hit my ears after a long pause, "Prime....we will discuss this later."
Thank Primus!

(Optimus POV)
I felt Destiny shift closer to my spark at Fowler's harsh tone as he asked, "And why not?"
I decided to be a bit vague, for I didn't know what Fowler could do to Destiny and I promised her that I would protect her from the orphanage. Any orphanages. I walked towards Agent Fowler, telling him, "For I believe that the witness should choose to face their own fear or stay hidden."
I felt Destiny breath on my spark as Fowler seem to figure out before he told me, "Prime...we will discuss this later."
He turned towards the elevator door and went back to his helicopter, once the elevator door close though I vented in relief. Destiny would now need to decide, does she want to be the only witness against Mrs. Lancy or does she want to be hidden.
Ratchet sighed as the others dispersed into there own group, they seem to be working on something, "Well that went better than suspected, also sorry for cutting your day short."
"It is alright old friend," I replied as I felt Destiny shift closer to my spark and felt/hear her breath started to grow even. She was probably asleep. She did have a long day
"Do you know where Destiny is?" Ratchet asked.
I whispered to him as the others talked about a surprise, "She is in my sparkling hold."
Ratchet looked at me surprised before he told me, "Optimus, we don't know what that could do to a human."
I nodded softly as I tried not to jostle Destiny, "That is another thing I wish to talk to you about, privately."
Ratchet nodded before he led me to my berthroom, I followed behind him as we walked. I didn't want the others to worry about my sparkling yet, she nuzzled the metal against my spark making me feel calmer that she was safer and more protected. Once we were inside my berthroom, Ratchet locked the doors. I didn't realize he grabbed his medical supplies as we walked, usually I was more observant. He motion me to sit on the berth which I did listen.
He told me, "Open your Sparkling hold."
I was about to oblige but hesitated, he rose an optic ridge as I asked, "Will you be careful to her?"
He nodded and I opened my sparkling chamber, Ratchet looked at Destiny and mused, "Hmm, she's not being infected by your spark."
I listened in intently keeping my optics on Ratchet who scanned her sleeping form, she seemed to be sleeping easier now, "She seems to be emitting a energon signature."
I saw as he picked Destiny from hold, Destiny mumbled and came closer to me. Ratchet noticed and gave her to me. I looked at him as he told me, "She seems to subconsciously drawn towards you. I only seen that with sparklings."
I looked at Destiny, I mused, "She also confided into me that she knows what some of our vocabulary is."
"Maybe she is a sparkling in disguise, a experiment exercised by a few scientist made sparklings blend into there surroundings. It would take years to perfect, but it's useful," Ratchet explained to me.
I looked at Destiny who was starting to smile in her sleep, she seem to never smile. She seem to be good at hiding her feelings, like I could. She also spoke like a teenager would not like a normal eight year old human should. She also reminded me of Elita-1 slightly. The way her eyes would sparkle in happiness whenever she felt loved reminded me of the glow surrounding Elita-1 during her, what humans would call, 'pregnancy'.
Ratchet hit me lightly with a wrench as to bring me back from reality, I looked at him as he sighed, "Now that I have your attention, I was saying that Destiny could be part Cybertroian. I would have to run some tests. Some which may interfere with our work with Decepticon activity and Agent Fowler."
I instantly felt a fierce protectiveness strive me to bring Destiny to my chassis and spark chamber. Ratchet noticed my movements as I told Ratchet, "Destiny will be safe here."
Destiny shifted her weight closer to my chassis, Ratchet scanned her, "Whenever she is near you, her body is more relaxed and her energon signature is actually stronger."
I rubbed Destiny's head gently with my didget, a lazy smile went on her face as she nuzzled the didget. Ratchet smiled at the scene before he asked, "You sure you don't want to protect her? We could always....adopt her into our family."
I looked at the sleeping child, she wished for a family.
A family.
Hm....
That gives me an idea....
