Chapter 7

Shawn POV

“Hey man” Logan greeted me with a man hand shake

“Hey” I said

I stood there with my friends as they talked about a game this Friday. I’m clearly excited to be in.

The bell rang and I made my way to my locker and grab out my English books.

I walked to class and sat on my seat. I realize the class started to pack up quickly but I didn’t stop Rosemary anywhere.

Maybe she’s late?

The teacher, Ms. Wilson, came in. as the final bell rang I waited to see the door open…but it never did.

Ms. Wilson started to take roll and when she got to Rosemary Baxter everyone turned to look at the empty seat.

Ms. Wilson looked at the clock and looked confused. I guess she’s surprise she’s absent.

She continues with the roll calling. Then she started to explain our class assignment or rather say project.

“Well class we are going to do a project” Ms. Wilson said clapping her hands together

The class groans but she ignores it.

“This project will count for half of your grade this final semester…you and your partner…” she started to say but the class

‘Yah’ of excitement they are excited to pick their partner but who will be mine?

“As I was saying you are required to get to know each other as to know something really important in their life not just like their favorite food, color, and idiotic questions like that” she said

“So we can’t ask those questions?” someone asked

“Yes but please don’t ask only their favorite stuff explain why and then at the end you are going to elaborate your partner oh how you see them at first as now as you know them” she stated

The class started to talk about their partner and when they are going to meet as I sat there looking around at everyone.

“Wait I know you guys are excited to pick your partner but I can tell you basically know your partner you have chosen so I’m going to pick your partner tomorrow I will tell the class” she said grinning

Everyone started to protest and she just waved a hand dismissively. This teacher is a different from the rest.

All my classes passed by fast now at basketball practice.

We have been playing for the past hour training none stop.

“Hey man what to hang out afterschool?” Logan asked

Logan has been a great friend since I started here. I can really trust him.

“Yeah sure” I said drinking some water

“Yeah lets go to my place and watch a movie or something I’m going to invite Ethan his been hung up lately” he said while stretching

“Yeah okay why has he been hung up lately?” I asked curiously

“Oh he has been missing his ex lately but he screwed it up but today is there anniversary…so as you can see not very well” Logan said uncomfortably

I nod and took a sip of water

Who is his ex-girlfriend?

“Hey who is-” I started to say
