Chapter 2

There she was. I haven't seen her in 4 years I thought to myself, but that didn't matter cause I'm with her right now. It was my mum. I ran over to her so fast and hugged her as tightly as I could.

"H-hi mum" I managed to get out.

"Hey Emily, I've missed you. You look beautiful as always." She said smiling, then reaching down to kiss the top of my head.

"I've missed you too. And I'm so happy to finally see you again! But why are you here?" I asked.

"Well Louis gave me a ring to let me know you were coming to visit, so I thought I'd come see you." she said with a smile.

"Why haven't you tried to come visit me much?" I said swallowing back the tears.

"I'm so sorry Emily, I've been extremely busy with work and with being there for Louis too. Emily if theres anyway I can make it up to you, please just let me know. I'm still kicking myself in the ass for not coming to see you for 4 years." she said as a tear ran down her face.

"It's fine mum. I'm just glad I finally get to see you and spend time with you." I said wipping away her tear. 

"Hey, how about the three of us go out to dinner tonight? You know, to catch up." Louis suggested with a smile.

"That would be lovely hun." mum said.

As my mum finished speaking, the door bell rang. Louis got up off the couch to go see who it was. When Louis reached the door he opened it to see who it was and in came his bandmates. They all looked so friendly and so charming. I was excited to get to know them all.

"Niall, Harry, Liam and Zayn, I'd like you to meet my little sister Emily." Louis said pointing them towards me.

"Oh hi!" I said standing up from the couch to shake all their hands.

When I got over to shake Harry's hand, he grabbed mine and kissed it saying "It's nice to finally meet you." He then looked up at me and winked. 

My what a cheeky boy he was. He already had me blushing and I only had known him for 2 minutes.  

"It's so nice to finally meet all of you." I said with a huge smile on my face.

'You too' they all said smiling back, letting me know they were happy too. They were all really nice, I couldn't wait to get to know them all.

"Shit." my mum said sharply.

"What is it?" Louis asked.

"They need me back at the office, so I have to leave." she said sadly.

"Will you be back in time for dinner?" I asked very upset.

"I will try my best babe. I love you. And you too Louis." she said hurriedly walking out to door. We just nodded our heads.

"Well what do you guys wanna do?" Niall asked us.

"Want to just watch a movie?" Zayn answered but asked as well.

We all agreed to watch a movie. Louis went to his DVD case and started to search for a movie for us to watch. While Louis was doing that we all decided to go get snacks and get ready for the movie. Harry, Niall and I went into the kitchen to make some popcorn and grab some sodas for everyone. While we were in the kitchen we were just chatting and laughing, then I got a text from my mum.

FROM: MUM

Hey babe, I'm sorry but I can't make it to dinner tonight they're holding me up at the office. I told them to not call me in tomorrow, so tomorrow is a whole day for me, you and Louis if you'd like. I love you. And I'm glad you're here. xx

I then responded to the text.

TO: MUM

It's alright. We can catch up tomorrow it's no problem. I love you too and me too. xx

After I texted her back, I was a bit pissed off and Harry could tell. He walked over to me and ask "What's wrong?" I answered "Mum is getting held up at the office and can't come out tonight." 

"I'm very sorry to hear that." he said solemnly.

"It's fine." I stated kinda harshly, just trying to get it off my mind.

"Well if you don't mind me asking, would you like to go on a date with me tonight?" Harry asked in a charming manour.

I looked over at him and smiled. "Are you trying to hit on your best mate's little sister?" I said sarcastically.

"Yeah, I think I am." he said laughing a little.

"Then, yes I'd love to go on a date with you tonight." I said grinning.

Louis just walked into the kitchen where me and Harry were. Wait, was it wrong that I just said yes to going on a date my first night here? I feel bad but I'm going to talk to Louis and she is it's okay with him. I nodded for Harry to leave the room so I could talk to Louis about our date. As Harry left he grabbed Niall's arm so it would just be me and Louis.

"Hey Louis, did mum text you too?" I asked with an attitude.

"Yeah. But atleast we have tomorrow" he said with a sigh.

"Well Louis... Harry asked me to go out to dinner with him tonight. Is it alright if I go?" I said really fast just to get it out.

He turned around with an awkward look on his face. "Erm, sure. But I need to talk to Harry first. And understand he is my best mate Em, no foolishness." he said.

Louis was a very layed back person, so it was weird when he got a bit defensive over the situation. But I grabbed my Dr.Pepper and a bowl of popcorn and headed towards the couch, then nodded for Harry to go back in.

(LOUIS' POV-)

Harry had just entered the room and came to stand next to me to let me know he was ready to talk. 

"So you asked Em out on a date?" I asked.

"Yes I did, Lou." Harry stated.

"Okay well I'm fine with you two going on a date, just no foolishness. You're my best mate and she's my little sister I don't want that stuff happening. Just be careful tonight." I said seriously.

"I will take care of her." Harry said nodding his head in assurance.

Haz and I grabbed the rest of the popcorn and headed to the living room.

(EMILY'S POV-)

Harry and Lou were coming back from the kitchen and I looked over at Harry who winked letting me know it was okay with Louis. I started to smile and I noticed Harry was too, I was happy to be going on a date. Zayn grabbed the remote and started the movie. We all decided to watch 'The Amazing Spiderman'. After the movie is about 6:30 so I stood up and stretched then headed up to my room. In about 15 minutes I was done showering and I got out to get ready for my date. They were all just talking about their new album and everything. Harry turned around and noticed I was standing there, he began to walk over smiling at me. 

"Y-You look stunning Em." he said with a wide grin on his face.

"Thanks Haz. You look good yourself." I replied smiling back.

" Well I guess were off then. We'll see you guys after dinner. Bye." Harry said as we were walking out the door. 

"Be careful guys! Bye!" Louis started to shout as we got farther from him. 

I couldn't believe I was actually going out on a date with Harry Styles right now. I was actually very happy about this date.
