Author's Note

Hello. This is the legit author speaking. Not Sean. Not Truman, either, or anybody else, this is me. Rorrysome. Hi.

Let me just say, Exceptional is largely based off of my life. I am a high school student, going into my sophomore year, at a private school with a crazy summer schedule.

Knowing that, it might not shock you to learn that I am going to be returning to my school schedule in, let's see, two days. In two short days, I shall be bormbarded with homework and deadlines and quizzes, oh my! Therefore, I will be unable to write chapters with as much speed and gusto as you, my loyal reader, are accustomed to. My apologies.

I thank you for continuing to read this series and putting up with my craaaaaaaaaziness. Please know that your support is what gives me the drive to continue writing my lovely little brain child, and your comments and critiques will help, in the long run, to possibly create a full-length novel (and possible graphic novellll?? I am an artist too, and if you wants to see an Exceptional comic, you should probably comment, cos I shan't do it without support...).

Thanks for reading! *Quotes Truman* "I know it sounds like a movie-cliche..." but it really does make me smile each time I see a new person has stumbled across my GLORIOUS CREATION er, I mean, my draft, and decided to stick around for a bit and keep reading.

Sadly, I'm only about halfway through the series, so you will have to stick around a good bit longer to find out what happens to Sean and company in the end...

But here's a little reward for you, for reading the whole author's note...

STUFF TO THINK ABOUT DURING THE WAIT!!

(These may or may not relate to the series at all, but that doesn't mean they can't haunt your waing hours and occasional scraps of dreams!)

        -Who is Marie?

-Can picnic grounds even catch on fire like that?

-Is Truman legit dead? *sarcastically* Or nawwww?

-Does Sprite actually taste any different than Sierra Mist?

-What's going to happen to our heroes, now that Frost's found them out?

        -Can you lick your elbow?

        -Can I lick my elbow?

        -No, I cannot.

-Are Kira and Arthur still going to be able to keep their love strong, even with all this rising action?

        -Can cats have wheat allergies?

        -Are cats allergic to anything?

-No, seriously. This could very well be a plot device.

-Bees! Aren't cats allergic to bees?

-Can this stupid author go two seconds without tangenting?

-Will the students succeed in their uprising, since their leader is, most likely, dead?

-Does any teacher have an exception? Anyone at all?

        -Will this list ever end?

-How will the series end? Comedy or tragedy?

        -Maybe just weird-y.

And that is all! Good day, faithful reader. Until next time.
