Maddies POV:
I closed my eyes and braced for the impact of the pole, but after a few seconds I opened my eyes and saw that the car was still on one piece. I looked over to Sky who was shaking like a leaf and had watery eyes. I looked around for the van that we had almost collided with, but I drew my attention back to Sky.
“Babe, look at me” I said while lifting her chin up with my left hand and drying her tears with my right. “Why are you crying? We made it out alive with no injuries to us, the van or the car”. After what seemed hours of silence she finally managed to get out a few sentences.
“B but” she stuttered choking back the sobs “What if I didn’t turn in time you would have gotten badly hurt and it would have been my fault” she said managing to hold in her tears.
“But Sky Blue, I’m here and I’m okay (A/N Sky Blue is Sky’s nickname, since her eyes are blue and her name is Sky, hehe I’m a smart cookie) if its anyone’s fault it’s that bloody van” I said while unbuckling my belt and making my way over to the now parked van. Sky was following quickly behind me, we were both eager to see who we almost hit.
I knocked on the back door of the van, when suddenly four hands came out and grabbed me and Sky. I started thrashing rapidly in their arms, reminding me of my twisted childhood. Sky noticed this and managed to free herself from their grasp and pulled me out of the pair of hands and hugged me. She pulled away after 10 seconds, so she could examine who had grabbed us and whether or not we should panic.
I looked up and saw 5 gorgeous faces staring back at us, I was at a loss for words when thankfully Sky spoke up.
“Umm, hi there, I don’t mean to be rude but what the fudge is going on” she questioned them in a polite yet firm tone.
The blonde haired boy with the blue eyes piped up “Hi we are One Direction, I’m Niall”. He said looking me in the eyes, I swear I nearly melted right then and there.
“I’m Zayn” the mysterious looking boy with the quiff said, while waving his hand in the air.
“Hello there fine ladies I’m Harry.” The boy with luscious curls said winking at Sky. Oh my, they are both flirts they are perfect for each other.
“HELLOOOOO I'M LOUIS THE SEX GOD AND KING OF CARROTS!” yelled the boy with the massive smile, cute eyes and bed hair.
Finally the last boy began to speak, he head a quiff too but a more mature look to him. “I apologize on behalf of these boys, I’m Liam, and they pulled you in like that because our fans are waiting outside and if they saw you girls banging on the door, things would not be good. So yeah oh I’m so silly are you girls alright? We are also sorry again for nearly killing you, but my, my you have some fast driving skills” he said motioning to Sky.
“Oh it was nothing really” she said quietly still blushing from when the boy named Harry winked at her.
“And your names are?” Niall questioned in an unnoticeable Irish accent. I swear yet again I would have melted, his accent was so damn adorable. Come to think of it the rest of the boys had British accents. I regained my composure and began to introduce myself.
“Urmm hi I’m Maddie, and this is Sky” I said while pointing at Sky. “Well we were coming to audition as dancers for you guys, I guess” I finished while taking a deep breath.
“Well that’s great, I think we will all get along great, sorry for dragging you in here again, but we are going in now so yeah...” Harry said in a low husky voice.
Louis scurried over to van door, his hand was on the handle but before pulling it open he said aloud so we could all hear “OK girls this may get a little crazy, so you have to run in there fast and not answer any questions the fans ask you got it?”. Me and Sky both looked at each other worriedly wondering what we got ourselves into. But we both nodded and with that Louis & Zayn pulled open the door while the rest of us ran out and into the lobby of the building.
We regained our normal breathing pattern while Liam told the secretary that ‘One Direction and their dancers were here’. I looked at Sky with a quizzical expression, wondering why Liam had said that. I mean yeah we were here to audition but we hadn’t got the job yet. The boys just smiled at us and lead us to the elevator.
“So girls I was wondering would you like to hang with us tonight at our hotel after the audition.” Harry asked clearly wanting to see more of Sky. I had no problem with this considering Niall had been staring at me clearly interested.
“Uh, sure we’d love to” I said before consulting with Sky. DING! The elevator doors flew open and the choreographer motioned for the boys to sit down and for us to warm up. Sky ran through a couple of stretches while I took of my sequin top to reveal a body hugging crop top. Sky looked at me and giggled before she done the same, we took our places on the floor with Niall and Harry staring at us with their jaws practically touching the ground.
The choreographer chatted to the boys for a bit before running through a few steps with us and the other 4 girls that were there also. The moves were simple but awesome; Sky and I caught on quickly and knew the routine like the back of our hand. We were ready and nothing was going to ruin our chances of dancing for One Direction.
Then the music started and we began the moves …
