Q's POV
The building was on fire.
It wasn't my fault.
The panic-stricken crowd rushed to the closest exit, the lucky ones escaped the inferno with singed ears whilst others were on the hard concrete groaning for their loved ones.
Bright red lights illuminated through the swirling clouds in the violet haze as high pitched siren noises crescendoed. It was a catastrophe, but the sound of crackling firey flames burning the building like the decaying love of a newlywed couple and the cries of help from victims that didn't escape the fire was beauteous.
[Flashback]
"Mr Han has always been our VIP guest, so for Mr Han's son to meet up with us, it's rather unexpected. It's a pleasure that Mr Han junior knows about us." Q, with her white-silverish hair, wore a simple black dress greeted him with a handshake took a sip of the cold brew coffee.
"Sa-Sang Hwang is fine." He said as he tried to hide his nervousness, it was his first time seeing people like them. He always thought that people like them only exist in movies; men in a black suit, wearing a 'murderistic' face and protecting their leader or mastermind.
But what caught him unexpectedly was the fact that it was a girl. His initial thought and expectation were crumpled down at once. Not that it was a bad thing but he thought that it would be a man in authority cause that was how it was portrayed in the movies.
Anyway, he managed to come across Poker's contact in his father's room. He doubted the contact in the beginning and started observing his father, that's when he knew that his almighty father that he looked up to, wasn't so great after all.
Mr Han was a candidate for an election of the new prime minister and was well known for being Korea's most loved candidate. There were seldom disagreements from his rival but even if they did, they somehow were turned to his comrade. Some say that it was because they gave up and found out that Mr Han was the better candidate for PM, some said that he managed to touch their heart using his kindness and modesty but in reality, its nothing but dirty lies.
"So, how may I help... Han Sang Hwang?" I crossed my slim legs gracefully, eyes playfully staring at him, knowing that he was lowkey 'scanning' me. A sigh of breath escaped his mouth as he realised he couldn't take his eyes off me. Boys.
He shook his head, trying to focus and stick to the reason he called them in the first place.
He paused a little, he didn't know if they were reliable. But really, so what? The white-haired girl already knew what he's gonna ask. Kids like them have nothing to worry about, just like the case when Sang Hwang killed someone, he had their parents to clean up the mess. Kids like them would only come to people like us in two kinds of scenarios. It's either their parents are unwilling to help out and so they are doing it behind their backs or because they need help from people with bigger power than their parents.
