"Rain, it's all that ever was out there besides the crowdedness of the city. Day and night, always tapping against the window, as if it was trapped and wanted to be let in. Dogs below running to get back home safely while some just casually stroll through without a worry in the world. I can see a lot from my office window, to the sunless sky and the grayscaled city that I've known for at least a few months now."
Bo stopped leaning on the window frame and went to his desk. He opened the drawer and got a little dog treat.
"It was a big decision to move away from my hometown. That place is nothing compared to this, it's prosepering in a very conflicting way." Bo thought to himself.
He looked over at the calendar hanging on the wall next to a few pictures of home.
"Damn my apartment bill is coming up soon, I hope I get paid before that comes around. 1928 is one strange year but there's the future to look forward to."
Bo looks through his cabinet files and makes sure his cases are all in order.
Even though he's only been here for a few months, he's had a good few cases. By good few, that means 2. One being a pupper taking candy from a general store, the other of missing gloves in a suburban household.
As Bo "organizes" his files, someone was knocking at the office door. Bo heard and tried to swiftly put away anything that would drive away potential business. He went to go open the door and saw a strapping young Shibe and welcomed him in.
"Hello good sir, what brings you in today? You can go ahead and have a seat right over there," Bo pointed at the plush pillow in front of his desk.
"Oh thank you, Mister uh-"
"Bo, Detective Bo."
"Mister Bo, my name's George and I wanted to report a B&E"
Bo takes out a pen and paper and murmers to himself as he writes down "Name is George...Reported B&E.." Bo looked up and asked "Do you have anymore information you can give me that could make the investigation a little easier Mister George?"
"I had gotten home after I had gotten out of work and I noticed that the door hinge had been broken. I pushed open the door lightly and it just fell onto the ground like paper. I had made sure noone had taken any possesions from me and luckily nothing was. That was until I noticed my pocket watch was missing from my bedroom. I asked my neighbors to watch my house while I came over to your office."
Bo wrote down "Was at work at the time of crime...Door broken down...No possessions stolen other than pocket watch..."
"It seems very odd that a dog would break into a house and only take one thing from there. Can I go to your home in an hour to take a look around?" Asked Bo.
"Of course Mister Bo, I'll be sleeping in my neighbors extra room tonight."
Bo opened the door for George to leave.
"Alright then, don't you worry Mister George. We're going to find the dog who did this and they are gonna have to answer a lot of questions. In the mean time get some rest, you've had a stressful day enough as it is."
Bo closed the door and thought to himself, "Finally! An actual good case I've been waiting for! Time to go show my worth to this fellow George!"
Bo packed his stuff and locked up the office and had started walking to the home.
