AU!Levi x Mercenary!reader

Prologue
You are a mercenary. You have been for years. This was just how life was. You used your body most times. Seduce men to kill them. Tonight your target was simple. An old rich dude as usual. You were at a formal party. You wondered around till you saw a handsome ravenette whom you talked to before kissing him on the cheek and going for your target.

Levi's POV

   I thought this party was like any other until I saw the girl of my dreams. She was perfect in every way. Her hair, her skin, her body, and her voice. When we talked her intellect sold the deal for me. She was perfect. I was, unfortunately, a mercenary though. I've never had a relationship and was never supposed to have one. My mission was simple, I was to find this woman by the name of (secret/N) and take her out. My boss was ruthless when it came to these missions. I sigh and head back to my hotel after the party not happy. I've been tracking this mercenary for months now. She was smart though. She covered her tracks well and kept her past hidden. I lay down in bed signing heavily at my loss of luck before getting to work at figuring out who she is
"Maybe she wasn't there tonight" I spoke to no one in particular

I start going over the new information. Before I know it I'm pissed off. I growl and throw my suitcase in frustration. I pull my hair before I hear a sudden knock on the door. I answer to see a woman standing there.

"Sorry, but if you're fucking a whore can you please keep it down? I don't know if you have a thing against the wall but can you not," she rolled her eyes.

"Sorry I was trying to get a fly...with my suitcase?... Nevermind. Ya, I'll keep it down," my face heated up.

she nodded and left back to her room

I am such a fucktard! What the fuck is wrong with me. First I can't find the target at the party and now I embarrass myself in front of a drop-dead hottie. I start scanning the files again trying to resist throwing things. I've been working for an hour and find no reason that she wouldn't be there. I start picking up the mess I made in this already filthy hotel room. This is a nice hotel but the staff obviously don't know how to properly clean. I start on my chart again and sigh connecting the dots of who when and where. My source couldn't have been wrong... if only I had a description of her but no description matches.

Readers POV

I was off on a cruise with a new mission. I like this one though. Although I am a mercenary sometimes I get out of the ordinary missions that don't include death. A trophy wife wished to divorce her wealthy husband but needed a just cause to do so and get the support to get most of his money in compensation. I simply needed to spill this aphrodisiac on him. From the skin contact, it would take its effects on his body. I left my room on the cover of the darkness to find him and complete my mission. 

While walking I felt the intensity in the air. I see a man with a gun in the distance and freeze. I suddenly felt a hand clamp around my waist and mouth before I was pulled back into a small crevice in the wall. I meet steely eyes as he takes his hand on my hip and puts his finger to his mouth telling me to stay silent. I nod and he removes his hand from my mouth. I lift my skirt and grab my gun from my guarder belt. My eyes widen a fraction before I blush as I feel something press against my leg. I glare up at the man before I harshly whisper 

"Control yourself"

He gulped looking away 

"I know shut up"

I look into his face seeing his much more calm and stoic expression. I look at his gun as well surprised. He seemed unafraid of this situation. His heartbeat was slow and I could hardly hear his breath. This man was no amateur. He met my gaze and raised an eyebrow 

"What?"

I sighed shaking my head "Nothing, now focus"

I hear footsteps approaching and we listen carefully. I finally step outshooting the man with the gun at the end of the dock. I look to the silver-eyed mystery and huff

"Explain"

"You act as I know" he rolled his eyes

"Well do you?" I retorted

"There are pirates trying to raid the ship" he explained

"See, I knew you knew" I smirk

He huffed and rolled his eyes "Can I get a name?"

You smirk before putting out your hand "(S/N)"

His eyes widened a fraction before retorting with "Levi Acherman"

We both drew our guns at each other 

"(S/N) you are my target" Levi growled almost sad

"Well, Levi that's a shame. I've heard of your work. I thought you were kinda cute too" you knocked the gun out of his hand with your foot before he could shoot. He caught your thigh pulling you closer growling 

"Do you really think now is the time?" He grabbed your gun and shot behind you as you hear a body fall "There are still pirates. We'll do this later"

I nod and grab his gun feeling how heavy it really was. We swap and continue to exterminate these pests. Once finished we got rid of the bodys tossing them overboard. I then started heading to my room being trailed by a certain silver-eyed man. I closed the door behind me turning to see a gun pointed at my chest. I sigh moving it up, him letting me as he sighs 

"You're making this hard"

I huff "I sure hope so, I don't hope to die yet"

He started looking around the room "I thought you were a mercenary, Where is everything?"

I chuckle pulling out a single briefcase. It held a gun cleaning kit, bullets, and a set of different bottles with one missing. Levi turned to you confused before questioning

"What are these bottles for?" 

I smile showing my poison ring "Poison. Simple, easy and effective"

Levi examined it closely curious. He felt a button on the side and you tried to jerk away but you were all too late. The fluid was squirted out of the poison ring onto Levi's face.

Levi's POV

I growl wiping away a liquid from my face. I suddenly freeze 

"What the hell was that!?"

She stuttered incoherently before explaining the substance was an aphrodisiac. 

"You need to get out now. You've got a minute before it takes effect"

Levi growled, "What about an antidote??"

"There is none. It only has a couple hour effect so I never worry about it"

I huff "Why wouldn't you have an antidote you brat!"

She rolls her eyes "At least I have an antidote for most of the lethal ones. There is no antidote for a gun wound"

I huff but feel my heart beat increase. I feel a blush form as my breathing increases. I feel almost disconnected from my body as I leaned in and pressed my lips to (S/N)'s. I look past her after separating from the kiss seeing a name on her case. I feel a throaty growl slip through my throat 

"Who is (Y/N)?"

She didn't meet my gaze before she spoke 

"That's my real name"

I smirk and repeat (Y/N) under my breath feeling like they were the name of an angel. I step closer to her as she steps back till her knees hit the back of the bed causing her to fall back on it. I smile leaning over her placing a few soft kisses on her neck. She shivered under me causing me to smirk,

"You did this to me, and you're gonna fix it"
