Kang Sang Yoo's POV.
*What? Why is she with him? What's going on?*
My already confused mind was made more confused when I saw the two of them together. In front of me and Jungkook's parents. I swear Jae Ang is the most disrespectful woman or probably even person I have met in my lifetime.
Without thinking twice, I stepped out the kitchen, my steps getting heavy as I walk.
"Jungkook!" I called and sadness suddenly filled me. I've missed calling his name.
I reached my arms for a hug but to my surprise, he rejected it.
"Don't touch me." Jungkook said the coldest way possible, freezing me in my spot. I looked at Jae Ang and she has this mocking look on her face.
His words shocked even his parents. "Why don't you want your girlfriend to touch you?", Eomonie asked.
Jungkook looked at me and my heart started beating at a fast pace. He has never looked at me that coldly before!
"Are you going to act like bad nothing happened?", his cold voice saddens me real time.
Act like nothing happened? Of course not! We still have to get to the bottom of this although it's unexplainable. I mean? Who could possibly make explosions and leave the least marks possible? No One!
"Are you going to act like nothing happened?!", Jungkook repeats on a higher tone with a higher level of intensity.
"I-I'm not!", I blurted out.
"Oh yeah? Then where were you when I suffered? Were you there?", Jungkook's words hit me faster than the light, and it hurts, it really does.
He has a point. Jae Ang was there the entire time and there's me who only knows how to cry.
Silence started to fill the house until Jungkook's dad decided to break the ice. "Umm, why don't we just eat? I'm sure you're hungry right, Jungkook?", His father said.
"Yeah.", Jungkook replied in a bored tone.
"And why don't you cook for us, Sang Yoo? This girl....Jae Ang-" Eomonie was cut off by someone.
"I'll help Sang Yoo, Ahjumma.", I was stunned at how Jae Ang smoothly puts her arm on my shoulder.
Eomonie was stunned but she didn't say anything. A satisfied look of approval was drawn on her face. "Okay then."
I glanced Jae Ang weirdly as we made way to the kitchen as the maids leave the kitchen, leaving both of us alone. She suddenly looks at me back. "What's with that look of yours, B*tch?", she asks.
I heaved a sigh before replying "I was just wondering why would you want to help me." I answered.
Jae Ang let out a sarcastic laugh "Isn't it obvious, I'm cooking for my boyfriend and in-laws!", that statement of hers made me cringe. Like, Seriously?!
"Entitled, eh?" I said as I scoff. How about I show her my bad side?
"I'm not. Let's say I can already see it.", she comes closer to me. "That I'll replace your worthless existence in their lives.", she continued. I admit that caught me off guard but I did not show it.
"That will never happen....and I can already see it.", I replied calmly, earning a smirk from her.
"You're too brave! But I'll prove you wrong.", she said.
"You know, I can't quite figure out what Jungkook has seen to you.", Jae Ang added.
"Really? I can't quite figure out why you're after him. We all know I'm his shade of gold and besides a nasty attude you're nothing, right?", I replied
What I said made Jae Ang clench her jaw and ball her fists.
"Gold? We'll see about that, Sang Yoo." she snapped back, obviously trying to hide her temper.
"Oh!" She softly said and smirked at me. "Don't celebrate too early, Sang Yoo. Remember that because we're just getting started." she threatened and a glimmer of fear showers me.
remember that because we're just getting started.
Disaster is my name
we're just getting started.
*Jae Ang means disaster! Why haven't I realized that earlier?*
"Speechless, huh?", she laughed sarcastically. This girl has powers!
I swallowed the lump forming at my throat. "It's you.." I blankly said.
"Took you long to realize!" she whisper-yelled.
"How could you do this? Who are you really?!" I said. This is really weird and creepy!
She chuckled humorlessly. "Let's say I'm the modern day Maleficent and the new Evil Queen. I just came to get MY Kookie."
"Your Kookie? He was never yours." I retorted. She's surely borned with the word 'entitled'.
"Oh yeah? Watch me take him away from you." she said while looking directly at me.
"I'm telling everyone what you're up to." I replied in hopes of scaring her granted that she told me everything.
She put her hand on my shoulder and I quickly brushed it away, she laughed. "Tell them, I don't care. Who's gonna believe you anyways?" she said while faking her sadness and realization hits me hard.
I may not have a chance to get him back.
She's right. Who's going to believe me? I've had tons of breakdowns, they might think I'm crazy.
"You're nothing Sang Yoo, stop trying hard." her words dropped my gaze.
"Everything alright, girls?" Eomonie interrupted the intense scene with a smile.
"Ne." We both say at the same time.
"Alright. We'll see you at the kitchen." She said and left.
We shot each other a glare and cooked.
***
The intense argument Jae Ang and I had at the kitchen became more intense as we cook. I mean Jae Ang is certainly a bitch! We argued on what to cook and what utensils to use, we even fought on who will serve and sit beside Jungkook. We served the food at the table. I quickly sat beside Jungkook, he gave me a weird look, causing me to gulp. I saw Jae Ang glaring at the corner of my eyes.
"Why are you sitting there?" Jungkook asked.
"Cause I'm your girlfriend." I showed him a smile, hoping to change his mind somehow.
He didn't say anything. Instead, he replied with a snort and started eating. Jungkook also ignored me the entire time making me sad and uncomfortable. I even reached for his hands....he allowed me but he didn't lock his finger with mine, only me did and it makes me feel stupid.
The worst thing is, I hold hands with him while he looks at Jae Ang....the same loving way he looks at me.
