Comfort
Masky's P.O.V:
I had to comfort Hoodie, hot tears were rolling down his face (Of course i can only see his mouth) and onto my tshirt... My jacket was ripped. He shook with every sob, it's times like this where i wish i was good at comforting...
"Chasing these shadows around this darkened room.
I've laid here so long I don't even want to move.
I need a minute now to heal.
I need a minute now to remember how to feel.
Whenever you're gone away.
The darkness hides the day.
Whenever you're gone the bleeding won't stop.
It hurts until you come back.
Everything goes black.
Everything goes black." I sung, admittedly i'm not the best singer but i knew he liked the song. He sniffed and nuzzled into my stomach before looking up at me, letting out a small hiccup.Hoodie's P.O.V:
Masky... Sang to me. His voice was slightly husky and scratchy but... It was perfect. He even knew one of my favorite songs! (Everything goes black) It somehow made everything better and i stared into his eyes before looking away nervously.
//Boys. I need you in my office. Now\\
I just hope he wasn't going to talk about... Masky gave my shoulder a reassuring squeeze and stood up, hovering at the door for me.~A few minutes later~
//Good day boys...\\
I flinched as he awkwardly continued
//Erm... Glad you got here so quickly. There's been an incident that i was hoping you could clear up for me...\\
"Anything sir!" Masky spoke, seeming slightly excited for the probable mission that awaited us.
If Slenderman could, i'm sure he would be smiling at us.
//You two... Are my best proxies. I can always rely on you. You see, Zalgo has a new ally, she is unlike anything we have ever seen before. And the rumour is they're planning an attack. So, eliminate the girl and Zalgo will retreat.\\
Masky nodded, "How hard can one girl be... I mean-"
"When do we go?" I interrupted, hoping to leave straight away. This mission could make me forget... Today. Slenderman cleared his throat slightly,
//Tomorrow. Rest up.\\Masky's P.O.V:
Yes! A new mission! Finally! Though i hope Hoodie's up for it. I don't want to loose him due to his 'Sadness'. And on the plusside, Toby's on a different mission so I don't have to share a tent with him! Thank god! While Hoods went straight up to the room, i jogged to the kitchen and made both of us a bacon sandwich.
"Well then, what's got you so happy?" Jane said with a smile, placing a laundry basket on the floor.
"O-oh, me and Hoodz got a mission!" I beamed. She laughed, "Best of luck... Oh and i heard about what happened. Poor thing. I had no idea E.J was capable of such a thing! And such a shy boy, too. Both of them actually..." She trailed off,
"Bye Jane!" I mumbled, walking back to our room and banging my elbow on the door to signal i want in. "O-oh... Hey masky! I was just cleaning up... Is that bacon?!" He gasped.
"You want a sammich?"
"YUSS! I... Umm, yeah whatever" I laughed and handed him a plate. When we were done with our food we decided to head to bed early, we wanted to be in top shape for the mission.
"Goodnight, Hoodie!" I yawned, trying to get comfortable on my stomach.
"Night..." He whispered with a sigh, I sat up,
"You ok?"
He turned to face me, still wearing his hoodie.
"...Do you..." He hesitated, "Like me?"Hoodie's P.O.V:
It's now or never... C'mon i can do this! Masky's eyes widened,
"W-Wha'dya mean?"
"...You don't think i'm a wimp for crying about today do you?"
Dammit! Why'd i say that?! NO! That was my only chance. God i feel like Canada! (Hetalia anyone?)
"No.. Hoodie... N-no! What he did was wrong! If anything i respect your bravery in not just letting it happen."
Wrong? Does he think being gay is wrong or just what E.J did?! I became frantic,
"B-But i... You had to help me!"
Masky's face softened,
"Hoodie, there's nothing wrong with that... Plus," He started with a smirk, "We're partners"
