I've wasted my Blood, Sweat and Tears

To try look like the model you always

Encouraged me to be.

You don't notice my struggle,

Sadness or pain

But you take a look at my outfit

And my appearance

You judge me as if I'm a

Criminal at the court

You make me a totally

Different person

You ruin people's lives

Bring us down

Make us feel insecure

Give us "messages"

Yet, have you wondered

How it is influencing

The individuals in this 

Modern day society?

Although, the messages may

Seem positive to you

On the other hand you're just

Making us hate ourselves

The us that was naturally

A gift from our beloved parents

So, why don't each of us take a moment

And realize that we are special

Each and one of us are the only one

To have our own kind of

Personality, body, and face

And maybe understand to

Love yourself again
