Monday morning came and Yuya struggled to get out of bed. Today, he didn't want to face Yuto, he especially didn't want to face Yugo. His feelings made him confused, he was confused if he was mad at himself for lying to Yugo or mad at Yugo for ruining his first date When his feet hit the ground Yuya let out a shudder, feeling the cool floor on his skin. A shock went through his body as he noticed his phone rigorously vibrating on the table. He looked over, noticing the swam of texts of Yugo flooding his screen. Biting his lip, in a fit of rage Yuya grabbed his phone, throwing it against the wall. "Yuya, son?" Yuya jumped at the sound of his dad's voice from the opposite side of the door. "Can I come in?"

"Su-sure," Yuya mumbled sitting on his bed. He watched as his dad made his way into the room with the help of his cane. He took a seat next to his son, using an arm to pull him close. Suddenly, feeling comfortable enough, Yuya burst into tears for the first time since Saturday. "I'm so sorry. I lied. I lied to everyone!"

Yuusho took the chance to try and comfort his son further. After the date Yuya came home, tears flowing freely and explained what he had been doing the past few weeks, from how he met Yuto, to developing feelings, to dressing like a girl so Yuto would still be around him. "My boy," Yuusho cooed. "We all do silly things but sometimes you have to face your problems head on with a smile."

"B-but, Yuto and Yugo, they'll both hate me now," Yuya sobbed into his dad's chest.

"And how do you know that?" Yuusho laughed. "If you don't face them how will you ever know?"  The sobbing started to slow down as Yuya thought about his dad's words. He was right, if he didn't face either of them, how would he know if they were truly upset with him. "Now get ready for school. You have a big rehearsal, today right?"

Yuya nodded, wiping away his tears. All he can hope for today, is that he gets the chance to explain himself before rumours began to spread about. "I'll be down for breakfast in ten," He smiled making Yuusho smile more.

It was during the conversations of first break that Yuya realised; there were no rumours going around. Nothing to say he was a pervert who likes women's clothing or that he was a potential stalker. Though he noticed that once class was dismissed Yugo bolted from the classroom. "What was that all about?" Yuzu asked leaning over to Yuya's desk. "He's been acting weird all morning."

"It's my fault," Yuya sighed standing up. Leaving Yuzu confused by the comment. "I'll go talk to him."

With that Yuya left, trying to find Yugo. He asked a couple of the other students if they had seen him around and the best lead he had was that Yugo had gone to the roof. With a heavy sigh Yuya made his way up the familiar stairs, surprisingly the hallway leading up was empty. He expected that a couple of students would be loitering around but no, there wasn't anyone around. As he neared the top, he began to hear voices. "Yugo," He asked himself as he cracked the door open slightly to see Yugo and Yuto talking.

"I don't have all day for this," Yugo growled at Yuto, reaching into his pocket and pulling out Yuya's red scarf. "I'll say this just once. Stay away from Yuya, he doesn't need someone like you messing him up."

Yuya's eyes widened, what was Yugo doing? He watched carefully as Yuto took the scarf back. "This is Yuya's," He mumbled. "Doesn't the fairy tale say you're meant to give lost items back to the princess? I think you'll find I'm not him."

"Stop it with the snarky comments," Yugo raged grabbing hold of Yuto's collar. Desperately Yuya wanted to reach over to help but his body stopped him. "You think you're so cleaver huh?"

"Well, prince charming couldn't tell his princess from any other woman when returning the shoe," Yuto snarled grabbing Yugo's wrist. "And you're just the same. You were fit to play prince charming, you're just as clueless as he is. Caring only for himself and not noticing the real person in front of him."

Yuya gasped as he watched Yuto through Yugo to the wall and pinned both his arms above his head. "Proving you're colours now," Yugo whined trying to break free.  "And who you are you calling clueless?"

"If you cared about Yuya, you wouldn't have ruined our date," Yuto snarled. "Have you not noticed the smile on his face? For the past few weeks he's looked happier then he has in months!"

"So, what, you don't care he's a boy?" Yugo gasped continuing to try and free his hands.

"I already knew," Yuya felt his tears coming back. "I've watched him for a while, how he's been trying to make others smile but that smile doesn't seem to last long. It was like he was wondering aimlessly. If you were his friend you would have noticed." With that said Yuto released Yugo form his grasp, holding onto the scarf tightly. "Now, this is Yuya's and I'm going to return it to him."

New emotions ran through Yuya. He was slightly scared of Yuto, he didn't realise he was capable of getting that angry but then again, he was glad that Yuto didn't care about him being a boy or a girl. As he heard footsteps come closer Yuya hid behind the door as it opened. "If you hurt Yuya," He heard Yugo call out. "I'll hurt you ten times worse! I'll make your life a living hell!"

With that threat mad, Yuya watched as Yuto left down the stairs. He left it a few minutes before mustering up the courage to head out onto the roof himself. He looked over, noticing Yugo with his head in his hands, almost sounding like he was sobbing. Yuya knelt down in front of him, leaning forward and hugging his best friend. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you the truth," He whispered in Yugo's ear. "Please don't be mad at me."

He suddenly felt Yugo's strong arms around his body. "I'm sorry," He wept. "I didn't notice you were so down. Please forgive me."

The two boys just sat holding each other in silence, both knowing that they were wrong and admitting it but now they just wanted the chase to feel close like old times.
