No POV
Everything is silent. Except for the mersharks whimpering. The tall shark person stares at the Demon Lord, eyeing her up and down. He then repeats the process with her daughter, Druella, and finally Saphirette. He growls before looking over their shoulders at the couple. The man holds his mershark companion tighter, while she buries her face into his shoulder. The Megalodon raises an eye brow, before suddenly sprinting forward.
Before anyone can react, he leaps over the three powerful Mamono and lands in front of the couple. His dark eyes sweep over them, sending shivers up their spine. He lowers his head and sniffs the mershark and the male human. He snorts and scratches his nose. He then speaks, in a low, raspy voice that hasn't been used in a long time.
"Where... is... it?"
"H-Huh?"
"Jewel... shark tooth... necklace. Mine."
He then stick his hands out.
The man gulps, before sticking his hand into his pocket. He pulls out necklace, a beautiful one at that. It had several different stones embedded in it, and a massive shark tooth hung in the middle. The man holds the necklace out with a trembling hand. The Megalodon slowly reaches out and takes the necklace from the man. He then walks past them, and stops at the tip of the dock. He takes a diving position, but before he can, he hears a voice shout.
"Halt!"
Several magic blasts roar from behind him, but he just jumps and backflips over them. He turns around and lets out a feral snarl.
"Druella! What are you doing?!"
"I cannot let something like him exist. Our entire Mamono species is made up of females! How can we let this one escape! He's an anomaly!"
The Megalodon is silent, before speaking again.
"You..... DIE!"
He rushes forth, cocking his fist back and swinging it towards the Demon Lords daughters face. She raises her arms to block, but the force of the punch sends her flying backwards. She yells in pain. The Megalodon steps towards her, intent on ending a threat, but unfortunately for him, motherly instincts kick in for the Demon Lord. Screaming in fury, she rushes forward and sends several powerful blasts of fire towards the Megalodon. They explode against him, enveloping him in a massive fireball. The Demon Lord rushes over to her daughter.
"Druella! Are you okay?"
"I'm fine *cough* mother. He just took me by surprise. Did you get him?"
A low, threatening growl answers her question. They turn around, and to their shock and horror, the Megalodon still stands glaring threateningly at the mother and daughter. He then takes his chance and jumps back into the see, while flipping them the bird.
