Cam's POV- I woke up next to a sleeping Elom. I got up from the couch and went to try and find Zion. I needed to go home because my parents blew up my phone. Once I found Z and asked him for a ride, he agreed and took me home. When I got to my house I told him thanks and went inside while preparing myself for my mother to kill me. But when I got inside and greeted my parents, I was very surprised to receive an "Oh, I'm happy you're home." from my mom, and a hug from my dad. I shrugged it off while I went upstairs to my room and laid on my bed. I pulled out my phone to text Elom that I had left whether he was up or not... I would find out soon enough.

Elom

Me: Hey, I just wanted to let you know that I went home.

I was gonna tell you but you were still sleeping and I didn't want to wake you.

Elom: Ok, I just woke up and I was wondering where you were.

But we've got to hang out again. Soon. At least a few times before I leave.

Me: What do you mean leave?

Elom: I meant leave as in going back to China.

Elom: Omg did I not tell you? I'm so sorry Cameron.

Me: Oh. I just assumed that you lived here. That's my fault for assuming.

Elom: Cam please don't be mad. I thought I told you.

Me: Elom, I'm serious it's fine. Can we just forget about the whole

'you actually living across the world thing' and go to the movies tomorrow instead?

Elom: Of course. See you tomorrow.

I'm kind of upset that Elom wouldn't be here soon, and it sucked to think about L.A without him. How soon would he be leaving? Would it be days... weeks??? I tried to push the thought out of my mind and began listening to music. While my playlist continued, began unpacking and setting up my room.

Elom's POV:
I felt bad after telling Cameron about leaving. Even though I wasn't there to see her expression, from the way she texted that she was upset. But, he birthday is in 2 weeks, so I had to focus on that.

Cam's Surprise Party 🥳

Me: Ok, so Cameron's birthday
is in 2 weeks and we're throwing
her a surprise party.

Me: Yea whatever 🙄

Brandon 🐝: Maybe we could get the girls to take her out while we set up.
Zion 🤦🏽‍♂️: What girls? No one in this has a girlfriend.

Me: We're planning a surprise
party for Cameron, and we
