Leesi's POV

Thayer and I have been up since six this morning and now we are walking around a baby store looking for stuff for the girls since I need to buy stuff for them. Bryce and Lyne are no longer in the apartment so I can just stick everything I buy today in there. Mitchell came bye and left his black card and made me promise to use it instead of my money. I rolled my eyes at him and took it anyways. There is no point in arguing with him because I will end up a crying mess on the floor.

Thayer sits comfortably in his car seat as I fill the basket up with clothes. A small girl with ripped jeans and a pretty blouse approaches us and smiles. "Can I help you with anything?"

I look around and then back at her. "Yeah, I need the yellow crib and then the black one shipped to my house and then I need two black bassinets shipped there as well. Along with the black and white dresser. The rocking chair is a def need."

"Okay, ma'am when you come to check out we will set it all up." She smiles and walks away. I pile some more clothes into the basket and then go up to the counter.

I whip out Mitchell's black card and pay for everything and get it sent to his house. Thayer and I go buy some more baby stuff and then head over to the Manor. I go inside and let Thayer play in his playpen and drag all of the baby stuff to the pool house. I go get Thayer and we go sit in an empty room with all of the baby stuff. Thayer yawns and I smile at him.

"Leesi, are you here?!" I frown and look at the time. He's early.

"I'm upstairs!"

Footsteps rush up the stairs and I look at the door to see Mitchell looking around the room. "So this is what you bought for almost five thousand dollars?"

"Yes, two cribs, two bassinets, clothes, and dressers." He nods. "I have an idea for this room but I don't want to do it if you're not going to be here in a few months."

"Oh, yeah, well, I did buy a house like a few days ago..." I rub Thayer's head as he sits in between my legs. "I can move all of this over there and you can decorate the room however you want."

I nod. "That'll work."

Willamina and Brian come home tomorrow and Thayer and I have been working nonstop on the nursery and it looks amazing. It's dark in the nursery but I like it. Mitchell said it was okay but I just ignored him.

Thayer lays in his car seat asleep as I continue to paint the rest of the furniture. Mitchell moved the bassinets to my apartment yesterday so I wouldn't have to. We've only talked about the babies and nothing else. I'm glad because at this point we would not end up on good terms. We are kind of neutral.

I move away from the white crib and look at my amazing art skills. "I told my mom I moved out and got the nursery in order and was happy but she wasn't happy when I told her you and I aren't on good terms."

And I spoke too soon. I've been trying to ignore this for this week but now he has to go and bring it up. "What did she say to that?"

"She chewed me out and told me to get my shit together." I lightly laugh. Willamina always has my back. "So I came home early to apologize and make it up to you once again. I am done with the hoes and what not. I just want you and I know you want me. It's obvious."

I feel my face heat up. "Sorry." He smiles at me.

"Truth is, I was scared of committing myself to you and staying tied down to you. I now know it's time for a change in my behavior and I am making that change today because my girls need to have a good stable family. Not no half bullshit."

I wince at that as the thought of my dad crosses my mind. Mitchel notices and frowns. "Sorry. I forgot."

"It's fine." Mitchell comes and stands beside me and wraps his arm around my shoulder. "Promise me you won't go back to your whorish ways? Because if you can't commit then I'm gone. I will go back to my mom's and you won't see me again and you will have to use your mom to contact me."

"Okay, Leesi, I promise to not ever hurt you like that."

As soon as Thayer woke up Mitchell took him away and left. He decided now was the time to spend some time with his little brother. I finished up the room and ate some pizza. I walk up the stairs and go to the nursery and snap a few pictures of the room.

A sun covers the right side of the room with a dark blue background. Dash's name is written in white. Glow in the dark litters in different places on the wall. Wiley's side of the room is filled with the moon and stars with her name written in white cursive as well. Wiley has a black crib as Dash has the white crib.

Yin and Yang was a type of inspiration with the moon and sun. Wiley is the black and Dash is the white. The room turned out better than I thought it would and I am beyond happy. Nothing could be better than having everything ready before you even need it ready.

My babies will be here in less than three months and I am so anxious to meet them and see their sweet faces. Maybe, Mitchell will feel the same. Just maybe.
