Leo was empty.

He'd just been through the war with Gaea. So many had died; he'd seen death at work. How many have died that he didn't know about?

Leo'd felt anger, grief, determination, and now, he was empty. The only things that kept him going were his promise on the River Styx and the thought of seeing his love again.

Finally, he reached the island on Festus. Calypso was running down the beach, calling his name.

"Leo! You're actually here! But how is this possible? No man ever finds my island twice. That is my curse," was Calypso happy, mad, or sad? She kinda sounded like she was in denial of his existence.

"Hey! Do you not want me here?" Leo complained. "And after I died for you! How ungrateful!"

She shut him up with a kiss.

"Are you leaving with me?" Leo asked.

"Yep."

"Will you still be immortal once you leave the island?"

"Don't know, don't care. I'm leaving."

They climbed on to Festus' s back.

"So, where shall we go, my Lady?" Leo joked.

"Anywhere but here," was the response.

"Then let's go to Camp Jupiter. Betcha haven't seen a Roman Camp!"

With their destination decided, they went off to Camp Jupiter.
