When I think of my brother, I picture him wearing his clear glasses. He started wearing glasses back in high school, when he couldn't see the blackboard. He has myopia, so he is able to look only at things near to him. Of course, he has not worn glasses all his life. Around the same time, he started using dental brackets, so he felt kind of robotic. He suddenly required to use many artifacts on his face, which made him look different. He now wears clear glasses that lean on his nose and ears. He only puts them away when sleeping, bathing or sometimes when eating. Now, I also need to wear glasses. Now, I understand why he never walks without his glasses. Not being able to look at things clearly is quite strange. Not being able to recognize persons and things as you walk is awful. Yet, it is kind of relaxing, feeling instead of watching, walking without worrying about the things you see. You can feel insecure about what you are seeing, but at the same time, you can feel free. Sometimes, I get tired of wearing glasses. Even though my brother always wears his clear glasses, I have never seen him grow weary of wearing them. Now, he is not the only one in the family that wears glasses, but he was indeed, the first one in the group. When I think of my brother, I not only picture him wearing his clear glasses, but also, I think of what he has taught me. I think of being calm when I have many things to do, to remain myself even when there are hundreds of things to make. I think of the good times I have had with him. I think of enjoying my family and every moment. I was born when he was sixth grade of elementary school, so my brother is twelve years older than me, but that is not a hindrance when it comes to talking and interacting with him. We have been very close to each other since I was little. I ask him when I have doubts and truly enjoy passing time with him. But, in the end, him wearing clear glasses does not mean that he is a walking pair of glasses. He now wears clear glasses that lean on his nose and ears, but his character does not lean on his glasses.
