Oh my god guys, how long has it been? I'm so sorry for updating after so long but I hope you still want to finish reading brave to see how it ends since I'll probably start updating a lot more now! Sorry again & I hope you like the chapter lovelies:)

"What's taking him so long?" I asked my mum.

"You worry so much for him, I sometimes forget who his mum is" she laughs.

Harry had been sent to deliver goodies for our new neighbors a while ago and he still hadn't come back.

He's probably being his charming self and stayed to chat with our neighbors.

"He's probably chatting with them, he does love my chocolate cookie recipe" she says practically reading my mind. "As much I hate to bother their conversation would you mind going next door to bring him over. The food is ready and I don't want it to get cold."

I nod and walk to the door but as I'm about to put on my coat, David starts to cry.

I rush all the way upstairs to calm down my baby. Once I get there I instantly scoop him up into my arms and cradle him. His cries are slowly dying down, looking up at me with his mesmerizing green eyes.

I decide to peek out the window to see why Harold was taking so long. I grip David strongly in one arm and open the curtains with the other.

After a good ten minutes I see the kind couple who sold the house to us crying in the doorway and Harry holding some luggage. Then I see a girl come out with one last bag looking back at her house hesitantly.

I believe her name is Jamie.

Finally her and Harry are walking towards our home. Harold looks so nervous as well as Jamie when they reach the doorway. It's been a few minutes now and they're still at the doorway but they're alot closer now.

I decide to just go and wait for them downstairs since it looks like they'll stay there for a while.

I look down to see my precious little bundle of joy sleeping in my arms and smile to myself. I put him back down in his crib and go downstairs to wait on my brother.

"Are you alright?" Jamie interrupts my thoughts.

I smile weakly and place her belongings down and get closer to her. I give her a smile of reassurance as I see her back up.

"Yeah I guess I'm alright. A bit overwhelmed, I just thought I'd meet you a while from now" I say instantly regretting it as her small smile falls into a frown.

His response brings a frown to my face and I don't know why. It's not like I expected to meet him this soon, I also thought it'd be a while from now. Maybe even never.

So why did it bother me so much?

"Would it be alright if I hugged you before we go in?" Harry asks, his voice a bit softer.

I nod and step closer to him. Soon I'm wrapped in his arms and I don't ever want to let go. He steps back but still has his arms around my waist, keeping me close to him.

He's just staring at me and I start to feel self conscious. I look down to avoid his gaze but he moves his head down to meet my eyes and I slowly lift my head so I'm looking straight at him.

We stand there for a while just admiring each other and for the first time I see his features and look at him up close.

His curly hair falls perfectly in place and he has these beautiful mesmerizing green eyes. I get so lost as my brown eyes focus on his green ones.

I stop staring at his eyes and see all his other features in depth. His lips are so full of color and look so soft. He's incredibly handsome and before I know it I can't help myself.

I do something I would never do in a million years about an hour ago but now at this moment I am.

It's an act that's unlike me. Bold. Maybe even brave.

I stand on my tippie toes and close my eyes.

I kiss him.
