“No you shouldn't forgive me.. I committed a crime..I did an unspeakable thing. .something I didn't know I was capable of doing…” Jungkook shakes his head, tears wetting his cheeks when Jimin tells him that he forgives him once the police contacts the victim as per protocol and explains to him the situation. Jimin rejects all charges and claims it was consensual sex and drags a dumbfounded Jungkook along with him to his house “ .. I always told myself I would protect you and keep you away from any harm…” Jungkook chuckles darkly “..  turns out I had to just keep you away from me…” Jungkook looks at Jimin sadness evident in his eyes “ . I'm so sorry Jimin… I never meant to hurt you. ..I never meant to lose control like that”

“I forgive you” Jimin repeats again

“You might have..”  Jungkook smiles sadly “... but I can never forgive myself for what I did to you. ..I tried to play it off as if it didn't happen especially since your memories were very foggy .. but I can't do this anymore…” Jungkook blinks his eyes rapidly to control his tears “.... I can't act like nothing happened. .. I took away your innocence and I didn't even give you a chance to voice what you wanted…besides you are only forgiving me because I'm your friend..if a stranger did this to you, you would kill him... I deserve to be punished ..”

“Then be with me” Jimin says after a moment of silence

“What?” Jungkook asks confused

“You say you want to be punished right?” Jimin asks as Jungkook nods his head slowly “.... Then be with me...only Me. .. that's your life long imprisonment....”

“Jimin…” Jungkook sighs

“I love you Jungkook…” Jimin says making Jungkook's eyes widen in surprise “..... I knew something happened that night.. I have some vague memories but I brushed it off as a dream and believed what you said about me falling down and hurting my back while I was drunk …” Jungkook looks away embarrassed “... But I wanted to know what you were going to do about it… wanted to know how you could act like nothing happened after you violated my body like that….” Jimin wipes his tears “… but I know you… I knew the man I fell for couldn't be all bad and heartless…” Jungkook looks at Jimin with teary eyes “ ...You made a mistake… we are human after all. ..”

“Jimin No. ..No. ..” Jungkook shakes his head “... don't forgive me...you giving me a chance like this isn't worth the harm I caused you..” Jungkook scrubs his face with his hands “.. What If I hurt you again huh. .. I won't be able to survive…” Jungkook’s voice cracks “...its already eating me inside out that for a few moments of pleasure I used you like that… you deserve to be loved...To be cherished… you are special. .and I'm so sorry I did that to you….”

“Do you love me Jungkook?” Jimin asks softly catching Jungkook off guard

“What does that matter Jimin?” Jungkook says tired “..I. .”

“It's a simple question…” Jimin interrupts him “..  I deserve to know”

“Yes I love you.. have ever since we became lab partners … what's that got to do with anything?” Jungkook wipes at his eyes

“Then take responsibility for your actions”

“That's what I was doing but you dropped the charges” Jungkook says confused

“No.. I want you to take responsibility. .. You have to take care of me…” Jimin says poking Jungkook’s chest “ for life. .. that's your punishment”

“That's hardly a punishment Jimin…” Jungkook smiles slightly seeing Jimin giggling “ .. This isn't a joke I'm serious” Jungkook frowns

“I'm serious too”

“Jimin…” Jungkook sighs

“Jungkook…” Jimin wills Jungkook to look at him “.... Look,  everyone deserves a second chance and this is yours… one more mistake like this and I'm out of your life forever”

“Jimin…” Jungkook’s eyes tear up

“Jungkook stop beating yourself up … I agree what you did is wrong… but I love you too much to see your future be wasted based on this”

“I am scared Jimin. .” Jungkook admits

“Why?” Jimin tilts his head looking at Jungkook

“I'm scared that I  will hurt you again”

“Do you wanna hurt me again?” Jimin asks making Jungkook's eyes widen

“No Jimin. .I never wanted that..ever… I gave into my carnal desires… aren't you scared I will hurt you again?!” Jungkook nearly yells in frustration - why isn't Jimin understanding the seriousness of the matter

“No!”

“How can you say that so confidently?” Jungkook shakes his head in disbelief

“I trust you too much..”

Jungkook lets out a frustrated laugh “Look where that trust led us to”

Jimin ignores Jungkook “....I know you won't do it again… I know I was at fault too…” Jimin sighs “... I was trying to make you jealous because you didn't dance with me at the party… I shouldn't have angered you and made you get drunk like that…I know how much you hate me being close to Taemin...”

“Jimin I'm not sure if it's a good idea”

“But don't you want to be with me?” Jimin asks hope evident in his eyes

“I do Jimin. .you have no idea how much” Jungkook whispers

“Then let's try dating… I really want to be with you…” Jimin says sincerely

Jimin smiles “I love you too” Jimin says before tip toeing, wrapping his arms around the taller's neck as he gently captures Jungkook's lips with his own
