3 | Spill the tea

"Amirah" , a voice called out as Mira sat in her walk in closet tidying the place up. She knew Liberty had been here and she also knew she was dead. "Amirah Walsh , there you are! I've been worried sick. Where were you? You family thought you were with me but I was in your room stealing your clothes! Do you know how difficult it was to jump from the window missy?" , she ranted.

"Breath Lee , breath. I'm fine" , Amirah calmed her best friend down and smiled. "You're fine? Your nose is red and your eyes are swollen. WTF happened? Who do I have to kill?" , she fisted her hands and started doing kung fu moves. "I got this Mira" , she shouted and fell flat on her butt. "Yeah you do" , Colby walked in and fell down laughing. 

"Who invited you?" , Liberty smacked his shoulders. "Aww baby , you wound me" , he smiled and tackled her into a hug. "Get off me trash" , she chuckled. 

Everyone could see how madly in love they were except these  delusional dumbheads who kept on fighting their mutual attraction. They were like two peas in a pod , no on had once seen them alone without each others company. 

"Amirah who the hell was that gorgeous man who dropped you home?" London squealed and entered the closet. "Hey guys" , she smiled and waved at Liberty and Colby who were busy fighting on the floor. 

"Man? Did I hear a gorgeous man?" , Liberty shouted? 

"Who is it Mira? Why don't we know about this?" , Colby pouted. 

"He dropped you home and tucked you in bed , he was so sweet and charming. Luckily mother and Ruskin were out on a date." , London rolled her eyes.

"WHAT?" , Mira squealed. "You mean Mrs.Potts and Ruskin?" , Liberty stared at London. "Yeah I mean mum's still young and Ruskin worships the ground she walks on" London smiled. 

Mrs.Potts was like a sister to Amirah's father , when her husband left her for another woman Mira's father took the pregnant woman in. Mrs.Potts didn't want to live for free , she was a woman of pride of self-respect and insisted to work as the house care-taker and Mira's nanny. She brought up London and Amirah as sisters and Mira loved her like her own mother. 

     "Anyways were are getting distracted , who's the dude Amirah?' , Colby asked her. "It's the coffee guy" , Amirah laughed. 

"NO! OMG! FINALLLY! Y'all practically were trying to producing kids with all that eye-fucking" , London sighed dramatically. 

"LONDON BELLE NATHAN LANGUAGE" , Ally Nathan's voice boomed as she entered the room glaring at her daughter. "Hello my babies" , she kissed Amirah's forehead and ruffled Colby's hair. "Whats the tea?" , she smiled. "Why mom , why?" , London rolled her eyes. 

Mrs.Potts actual name was Ally Nathan , Mrs.Potts was a pet name kept by the children as she reminded them of Mrs.Potts from beauty and the beast. Growing up beauty and the beast was Mira's favourite film and she was convinced she was Belle and Ally was her Mrs.Potts however she was still searching for her beast or maybe she'd already found him. 

"Anyways I just came to check on you guys , I'm going grocery shopping feel free to text me if you guys need anything. Bye" , she kissed her daughter on the cheek and headed out. "Ruskin let's go" , her voiced echoed through the mansion walls. 

"So Mira spill the real tea" , Liberty squealed. All four of them sprawled across the closet floor as Mira began too reveal her secret rendezvous.

"Sweetheart are you home?" , Amirah's father knocked the bedroom door. "Hello kids" , he smiled at the crew and walked in.  "What's up dad?" , Mira smiled at her dad. "Maya's down , she'd like to talk to you" , he smiled. "Maya Lancaster?" , Liberty asked. "She's like the best artist of our town , she's literally my inspiration."

"She would like to talk you child , she's here to apologise for the husbands behaviour" , Mira's father explained. "Okay father , I'll be down in a few minutes" 

Maya Lancaster sat in the living room staring at the family portrait which consisted of a teen Amirah sitting on her fathers lap laughing  , Giselle Walsh , Ally Nathan with her daughter London , Ruskin , Colby and Liberty. They all looked so perfect and happy. Insecurities began running through Maya's head. Was too late? Was the truth worth destroying so much happiness? Were they being selfish?

"Aunt M" , Amirah smiled. "Amirah" , Maya smiled hugged her. "So what brings you here?" , she smiled and sat down next to her. 

"I just wanted to apologise for my husbands behaviour, he meant no harm child. He's just to emotional" , she squeezed her hand. 

"Gabriel and I lost a baby girl many years ago , she was born the same year as you. Gabriel loves all his children but he had a special connection with her , he was always busy with work and couldn't spend much time with her. Frankly speaking he was rooting for a boy , but one day she caught his hand and spoke her first words 'Dada' and since that day she was his favourite. But we lost her in an accident. You remind him of her Amirah , since he's your god-father his father instincts kick in naturally." , she smiled as tears rolled down her cheek. 

"Things haven't been so great for us Mira , we had too leave town and after losing my child I fell into depression and couldn't speak for months. After a very long time my family's become stable and is finally happy. I came here to request you to attend the party , I haven't seen my husband this happy in a long time sweetheart and it would mean the world to me" 

Amirah was shocked , her parents never discussed the Lancaster Family in detail but hearing this made Amirah a little sad. Perhaps she had overreacted this afternoon , she felt guilty. 

"Of course I will , don't worry. I'll be there" , she hugged her god-mother. "Thanks sweetie , Ill be leaving now. Got a party to plan. Thanks Mira" , she kissed Amirah's forehead and left. 

"Something isn't right" , London whispered to Liberty and Colby as they eavesdropped the conversation. "What do you mean?" , they asked. 

"Mother never mentioned the child that died , no one ever did. It's like she disappeared from the face of earth" , London explained. "There were always rumours regarding these being a young girl born but no one ever saw her people say she died that day but still I don't believe it"

"There's something fishy obviously going , the Lancasters returning and then mentioning this child who no ones seen. " , Colby sighed.

"I don't have a good feeling about this guys and something tells me this is just the beginning. But whats more important is how are we going to hide the truth from Amirah. She doesn't know who her boyfriend is or her god-father." , Liberty bit her finger nails. 

"Now thats the real tea , Libby" , London chuckled nervously.
