The wind dramatically picked up its strength and leaves blew around the bleeding body on the park's floor; Lydia stared at the clouds above her. She reached her trembling hand to Jimin, who was now crying and slapping away his abusive father.
No. It wasn't the doll's father, it was just that the doll was made to look like Park Jimin. The doll had its name that no one ever calls him by, expect for Wheein. The witch said nothing ever since Lydia got shot due to the loss of connection between the potion and Lydia's darkening mind. Lydia knew that by the time she gets back to Wheein's place, Jungkook's body will immediately shut down in shock, so she stayed still, despite the harsh pain biting on her side.
She was lucky that Jimin's father had a bad aim or else the man would have really killed a kid who had barely graduated from high school yet. Lydia breathed in and ripped the part of his white shirt, tying tightly on the wound. Lydia wanted to accomplish her mission and she isn't going back to her world without Jimin's doll in her arms. So, she picked up the gun that Jimin's father probably threw to erase the evidence and pointed at the angry lad, who's pulling Jimin's doll by its scalp.
"Stay where the fuck you are and drop him before I fucking pull the trigger," hissed Lydia; she was beyond irritated as imaginary steams seemed to gush out of his ears.
The lad did not bother with what Lydia had said and continued to drag Jimin's doll sideways. Then, before everything started to darken, Lydia pulled the trigger, sending back the thick bullet into his leg.
The man howled and cried out in pain.
"FUCK!" He fell to the floor and removed his filthy hands from Jimin's doll's scalp, grabbing his bleeding leg.
"You fucking bitch! How dare you shoot at an innocent man!"
Lydia smiled before huddling herself up again; his eyes were turning to a lighter blue than the usual. "Yongbok, come and take my hand." Jimin's doll immediately looked taken back as everyone knew it was wrong to call the doll's actual name because the spell will be undone. But, nothing happened; the Jimin doll was still Park Jimin and his eyes were still teary.
"Your spell is different, Yongbok. Just do what I said."
"I-I thought Wheein was the only one who knew my name? Just h-how?"
Lydia smirked and winked, saying, "That will be a secret between us"—she glanced at the injured lad—"Let's get out of here before someone else dies here."
The Jimin doll quickly picked himself up and supported Lydia despite the huge crack in his face. Worried, Lydia signaled Yongbok to stop but the Jimin doll shook his head and dragged themselves to the edge of a river.
"Heard that Wheein had changed our transportation. It's the River Way now?"
"Yeah..."
A low groan was heard from miles away and Lydia immediately told Yongbok to hurry up. The doll gently placed Lydia on the ground and broke a piece of his face off, dropping it in the river.
"What are you doing? This will make the portal permanent! Yongbok?"
"I have to come back here sooner or later with his body." Yongbok eyed Lydia's body and the doll rolled her eyes.
"Alright, but just make sure no one sees the portal which means you can't walk around it with anyone because they will see it. You know? We're magical dolls," snickered Lydia as she watched the river creating a golden glowing hole.
The waters parted their ways easily and Yongbok hastily carried Lydia to the hole, jumping down with her.
