Guardians

Chapter 1

"Ugh! I'll always hate this part... would it kill you guys to help?"

"Thomas we are figments of your imagination. Therefore we cannot be exterminated."

"I know that Logan, it's a figure of speech!"

"Ooh! Microsoft Nerd didn't know something for once!"

"Roman, need I compare the amount of times you have been wrong to me?"

"OH THAT'S IT! PATTON! MOVE! GET OUT OF MY WAY!!!"

"No! You know I don't want you guys fighting!"

The room held four men all identical except two wore glasses. Thomas was in the middle fiddling with some camera equipment. Logan was sitting on the couch tossing aside a book about the scientific theorem to bicker with Roman, who was pushing Patton out of the way to get to Logan.

"Aha!" Thomas shouted with victory rising in his voice, "I FINALLY got the camera set up!"

Thomas turned to see that no one was paying attention, Patton was sitting on the floor rubbing his head on the spot where it had hit the floor, thanks to Roman pushing him out of the way. Roman and Logan were up in each other's faces.

"NERD!" Roman shouted.

"Prep." Logan simply stated adjusting his glasses.

Roman gasped then glared at Logan. "You're going to regret that!"

"Am I now?"

"YEAH! YOU ARE YOU SON OF A-" with pure rage, Roman wrestled Logan to the ground.

" AHH! ROMAN! GET OFF! SOMEONE GET HIM OFF!" Logan shouted struggling  under the weight of the other man.

Patton quickly adjusting his glasses before grabbing Roman and started pulling him off Logan. As soon there was enough space, Logan scrambled up. 

Roman struggled in Patton's grip, "Patton! Let me go!"

"Not until you calm down kiddo!"

Logan silently bent down and picked up his shattered glasses before turning and walking up to his room, locking the door behind him.

Patton sighed and let Roman go, then turned to Thomas, "It doesn't seem like we'll be able to shoot the video today, kiddo."

With that Patton escorted Roman to his room. Thomas stood silently for a minute then looked at the camera he had just been setting up for an hour.

He sighed "You've got to be kidding me."
