Taro Yamada X Male! Reader

~Y/n POV~

I was walking to school with my best friend, Hanako Yamada. He was younger than me by a little bit and we met at a park. He introduced me to his brother and he was quite enjoyable to be around. "So Y/n, do you want to go to my house this weekend?" I hear Hanako ask as I open my locker. "Sure, I can be over there by maybe 3 on Saturday," I say slipping my shoes off and changing them. "Yay, bring a swim suit and maybe some other things," he says before running off to his brother. I laugh and put my other shoes up. I close my locker and begin walking over to Asu Rito, my clubs leader. "Hey L/n, how about a few laps today?" she asks putting her arm over my shoulder. I nod, she was quite shorter than me seeing as I am one of the tallest (sorry if you aren't tall) in school. I walk into the boys locker room and change into my athletic clothes. I look around the foggy room and close my locker walking out with the other guys. As we walk in the gym to stretch I see Taro with Kakona (sl**y Koconuts in this one). She was pressing up against him and looking at him dreamily. He seems uncomfortable and I see him trying to get away from her. "Hey, Haruka," I say. She looks over and gives me a glare," Why don't you stop pressing up against men and go get some discipline (idk I forgot the word to write)." She looks away red in frustration. I see Taro give me a thankful smile and I nod watching as she walks away angrily. I begin finishing my stretches before running outside. I begin sprinting getting ahead of everybody except for Asu. Today was the day I wanted to beat her so I began pushing myself. I pick up speed and a little bit after I'm in front of her. I continue running gaining speed after a bit. I see the finishing point and dash my way over. I tumble over it doing a little cartwheel as I cross the white line. I lie down on my back looking at the sky. "Y-y/n you okay?" I hear someone ask. I look over and see Taro. I sit up and nod. "Good hustle today Y/n," Asu says walking over. She puts out her hand and I grab it standing up. "Thanks," I say. She just nods and runs off into the gym. "Well, I should be going in with the club, see you before class?" I ask. He just nods, it might be because I fell but I swore I could see a light pink on his cheeks. I shake it off and run inside the gym. "Ryu where is everybody?" I ask one of the new female club members. "Asu cut practice short, she had to go do some business with our sub leader," she says walking off. I walk behind and go in the locker room seeing some of the guys.

It was now Friday. I had to work at a store near the school so I decided to bring my uniform. "I hear you were coming over tomorrow," I hear as I turn around seeing Taro. "Yeah, your parents don't mind do they?" I ask rubbing my neck. "No, they adore you," he says smiling reassuringly. I nod and grab my apron from my locker and tie it around. "Well, I should head off to work," I say waving and smiling before walking off bag in hand. I hear a faint 'bye' as I walk away towards the store.

~Time Skip cause I don't know what to write~

It was now Saturday and I was just about to head over to the Yamada's house. I grab my phone and slip it into my pockets before walking towards there house which is about 2 blocks away. As I walk I feel like I'm being watched. I look around but don't see anything so I shrug it off and continue walking. Once I make it there I knock on the door. "Y/n! So great to see you again," Mrs. Yamada says hugging me before welcoming me inside. "Good to see you as well Mrs. Yamada," I say smiling and bowing towards her. "Hanako is up in his brothers room. Why don't you go up there with them," she says before going back to the kitchen. I walk towards his room and before I knock on the door I hear lots of talking. "Taro! He's gonna be here soon, you better have a plan ready to confess to him by then," I hear the higher pitched voice belonging to Hanako. "What if Y/n doesn't like me?" I hear Taro ask with a bit of stress in his voice. I smile as I hear him utter those words before knocking on the door. I hear a lot of rustling before the door opens. I see Hanako and smile waving. "Hello Y/n! Can you wait in here with Taro for a little bit I need to go get something," before I could say anything or move he dashes away. I chuckle at his tactics and walk in the room with Taro. "Y/n th-there's something I-I want to tell you," Taro says rubbing the back of his neck. I tilt my head and urge him to go on. He intakes a lot of air and exhales before saying these words," Ireallylikeyouandhopeyouwilllikemetoo!" It takes me a little bit to figure out what he said but when I do I hug him. "I like you too Yamada," I say looking into his eyes (left or right or both I guess XD).

                                                                            ~Bonus Ending~

Hanako squeals as he hears Y/n accept Taros feelings. "Looks like he finally told 'em," says a voice behind Hanako. Hanako lets out a scream of terror and turns around seeing his mother. He looks at her in shock but before he could say anything the door opens swiftly revealing Taro and Y/n looking outside shocked.
