When we arrived at the park we had to go through the line to buy our tickets. The line wasn't as long because we came just a few minutes before they officially opened.
Once we got in the park there was a couple booth. Where they had couple items. Matching headbands, shirts and even straws. I looked over and sighed.
Out of nowhere Hyungsik grabbed my hand and dragged me all the way to the couple booth.
"Why did you drag me here" I said somewhat annoyed.
"Come on, let's get matching headbands. What's the point of coming to an amusement park if you aren't going to have fun?" Without me even replying to him he told the booth owner "Can I get three of those headbands".
Out of all the merchandise in the store, he had to get those. He chose a set of red headband that had two hearts dangling from the top of it.
"So why did you get three" I asked him.
"One for Wendy also. You're not the only one I like." He said with a wink.
Okay but what's that even supposed to mean. After he paid for the items we regrouped with the others.
"Nice headbands" Tae said clearly in a mocking tone.
"Thanks" I said sarcastically.
We decided to go to the wave which was a water ride. It was shaped like a little boat with two rows inside. It goes down a hill and water gets everywhere. It even gets on the people around the ride.
When it was finally our turn, we all rushed to get in. Wendy and Tae ran to get in the first row. While Ksoo, Hyungsik and I took the second row. Somehow I found myself sitting smack dab in the middle of them too. Me and Ksoo avoided eye contact all day. When it finally got to the hill part, I closed my eyes so water didn't get in my eyes.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHGGGG"
We all screamed going now the hill. The hill felt like it was going down for so long and water was going everywhere.
When the ride finally ended we all got off soaking wet.
"Well I can cross something off my bucket list" Taehyung joked.
We all sat right outside the Wave next to the heater section. It basically made you become dry a lot faster.
Taehyung and Wendy went out to get snacks while we dried down and Hyungsik offered to go buy us some towels.
Which of course left me alone with Kyungsoo.
It was awkward silence for a good minute.
"So this hyungsik guy..." He started.
"What about him?" I asked.
"He seems like a nice guy. Where did you meet him." He asked.
"Kyungsoo are we really going there? Asking each other about our new "flings"."
"Jisoo all I was doing was asking. Would you rather us stay in awkward silence? I was just trying to make you more comfortable." He said.
"Comfortable. You wanted to make me comfortable? That's really funny. You should have thought that through when you brought a girl over when you clearly-" I suddenly stoped myself.
In the distance I could see her. Out of all the days she could ruin, it had to be today. I turn to tell Kyungsoo that's his "girlfriend" was here but he already has left my side. He started making his way towards Sulli.
I didn't know how to react and could not come up with any snarky comments so I just let it be. For once, I didn't do anything.
I sat there while Ksoo started slowly disappearing in the crowd towards Sulli.
