Chapter 2

**Alexis's POV**

I stretched my legs and arms out and made unhuman noises that I had no idea I could make. I rolled over and stared at my alarm clock for a moment.

6:00 am *click* 6:01 am

GREAT! Today I have to move across the country and leave my whole life behind me....... AND not to mention I have to wake up at six in the morning! How could this day get any better! *hint the sarcasm*

I then got up and went to the bathroom. I proceeded to wash my face and brush my teeth. Since we were only going to the airport I didn't even bother with makeup. After that I threw my hair into a messy ponytail and put on some earings since I hadn't worn any in a while.

After I decided I looked halfway decent, I walked over to my backpack and put in some last minute items like chargers and earbuds for the flight.

I didn't even bother looking at myself before leaving my room because I knew I already looked ratchet. After I rushed down the stairs, I made sure to do a quick search through my bag to see if I forgot any of my belongings.

I heard my mother screaming at me to get in the car or I would miss my flight so I ran up to the car before taking a look at the house I grew up in.

Even though I was just moving to my dad's and my mom would still be here, I had so many memories here that would stay with me forever. My friends and I shared the most halarious and wonderful times in this house. Not to mention, I had my first boyfriend and kiss in this house, too. I'm really gonna miss this place even though I could always visit my mom here. Anyways, this house is always going to hold most of my memories and I'm really gonna.

"Alexis Marie Henderson, I swear if you do not get in this car in the matter of 5 seconds, I'll-" my mom said interrupting me from my thoughts.

wow, really feeling the love before moving across the country and not knowing when I'm going to see her again.

"Gezz, I'm coming, calm your tits," I said with a slight laugh.

"ALEXA! language" she said annoyed

"It was just a joke mom lighten up" I laughed.

I looked over at the clock in the car which read: 7:15, and realized why my mom was in such a hurry. My flight takes off at 7:45 and I still need to go through security, check in my bags, and all that crap.

Finally We arrived at the airport, and thank the Lord we only lived about 5 minuetes away from it or I would of missed my flight!I'm actually really surprised that we didn't get a ticket, or in an accident on the way here.

Once we finally arrived at the airport it was 7:20. FRICK!!! I only have 25 mins. till I have to board the plane! MY mom quickly helped me check in all my bags and we arrived at security. I knew how much I wold miss my friends and how much I am dreading moving away from them, , but since I was so close to my mom, she was the hardest to say goodbye to. Both of struggled to say goodbye through our tears but knew if we didn't hurry, then my flight would leave without me. I got in line for security and checked the time.

7:30

I ONLY HAVE 15 MORE MINUETES TILL BOARDING BEGINS!!!!!!

I scanned over the room and the line for security was way to long and going by super slow.

I rushed through security with 10 minutes to spare and ran as fast as I could to find my gate

And of course wth my luck, I bumped into some kid who looked arouund my age and we both fell to the floor.

" Shit, i'm going to be late for my flight," the boy said.

" You are! Mine leaves in 7 minuetess and I have no idea where my gate is!" I replied agrevadedly.

"Geeezz sorry," he replied obviously annoyed.

" You should be!"

" Okay then what's your gate, maybe I know where it is," he asked.

" Gate G," I said hoping he would just leave me alone.

" No way! i'm on the same flights! I'll show you where it is, oh and by the way I'm Matt."

Perfect, as if my day couldn't get any worse, I'm stuck on a plane with this annoying guy.

" Alexis, and okay, can you just show me where the gate is, I don't want to be late."

" okay Alexis, and the gate is right here to the left," Matt said as he pointed to the sign with Gate G written on it.

I mumbeld a quick thanks to Matt and ran off to board.
