Monday Morning. 8:00am.

Village Town.

I walked past the flower shop and smiled at Beatrice, the owner. She gently pulled my arm to face her.

"Andy said he had a great time yesterday. Tell your mother I said thanks for his supper." She looks over her flowers.

"Will do Mrs Harrow! Will Carter and Andy be allowed to come to the meadows with me tommorrow?"I grin and do my puppy eyes.

"Call me Jessica! Well, Carter definately will, but Andy has to finish his school work, so maybe." She smiles, gathering a bunch of white lilys for a customer.

"Thank you, Jess! Could you ask Andy to come around tonight if he is allowed?" I start to walk ahead.

"Sure. Good day, darling!" I turn around and wave at Mrs Anne.

As i walk down the pavements, I think about Andy & Carter.

Andy has messy dark brown hair and mysterious brown eyes. He normally wears his shorts and shoes with his untidy button-shirt. He probably had the most amazing personality. One minute he would be laughing, the next he would become serious. He always made sure he made everyone laugh. He was amazingly successful for his age. He owned his own fancy house and acres of fields on the edge of Ireland.

Carter had light blonde hair & icy-blue eyes. Andy reacons Carter has a thing for me now... But me and him have always been friends, we were born on the exact same day at the same time! So we became best friends, thats how i met Andy.

Carter had his own edgy style. Unbuttoned t-shirt, tight jeans and shoes. His father, Mr Harrow, preferred Andy because of Carters style. Thats why Carter normally slept at mine or at Andys. He almost had enough for his own house.

I snap back into my sences and walk past the butchers and the hairdressers. Nancy waves at me through the windows, I smile and open the door to the hairdressers. I walk up to her and she hugs me.

"Hello! Aint seen you for a while!" She laughs and looks at me fully.

I was wearing my gorgeous, new, flowy knee-length claret dress with old black shoes. I had my hair down, as normal.

"Yeah, I know. Ive been...busy! You know how it is with my family!" I sit on a wooden chair and roll my eyes.

"Oh, yeah...So, hows Carter? How old is he now? Eleven, twelve?" She grins and sits down on a chair beside me.

I giggle. "Try 15" Nancy puts her hands to her mouth and shakes her head.

"Your kidding, right? The last time I remember him, he was about 9!' She bites her bottom lip and deeply thinks about all the memories.

When we were all little, Nancy, Me, Andy and Carter would always play about. Carter would pull pranks on people and Andy took the blames. (Carter and I were only 10, while Nancy was 10 and Andy was almost 11).

"We so have to go someplace sometime!"She says. She stroked her hand through her chocolate-brown hair and smooth down her blouse. She was wearing a below knee-length skirt with a white blouse and clogs.

"How about...17th?"I ask, checking my planner as about 4 people enter the store and start to que.

"Sure. Ill go to your place, shall I?"

"You shall. 12:00, sharp. Dont worry if your a bit late though, Carter is always 15 minutes late for everything. Andy will be directly on-time." I smile and walk out the door down to the groceries.

By a rubbish bag, I spot three tiny puppies and a mummy dog cowering. They looked starving and lost. I looked at them. No collar or any sign of an owner. I picked up the puppies and put them in my basket carefully and hidden. I buy some food for them and place it in the basket. I spot some meat on sale and feed their mum. She warms up against me and i pick her up, i see Carters bicycle by the side of the pavement and put the mum in the front basket, i manage to hoop the basket through the handle-bars and leave a note in the bikes place.
