Oliver and Owen stood sharing their bathroom mirror looking at the large bite marks and rubbing soothing ointment on their bodies. The bites were big red blotches and were as itchy as chickenpox.

Asher and Alexa tried to ignore their itchy bites and continued to paint their nails in Asher's bedroom floor but the itch became unbearable. Asher had to give in and scratch spreading metallic pink nail polish up her arm. Alexa laughed at Asher but Asher didn't see the funny side. She couldn't find a towel so she rubbed the polish with a black shirt but it didn't come off.

Caitlin felt awful. Her skin was as pale as ice as she curled up in corner of her room with the lights off. She was sweating under the light of the bright moon which shone through her window but she didn't want to move.

Seth laid in bed and watched the motionless roof. He was tired. Finally he dozed off. His dreams started at the lake. He was standing around the meteorites. He felt a bolt of pain through his body. A full moon grew closer in the sky. Seth fell to the ground and yelled in pain as his fingers grew claws. He heard someone call his name. Asher and Alexa stood above him. They too had claws. They ran at him claws first simultaneously and woke up. His mum by his bed side shaking him..

"It's okay, it's just a bad dream," She sat on the side of his bed. Seth wiped the sweat from his forehead trying to fully open his eyes.

"What were you dreaming of?" his mum asked, as he sat up.

"Monsters I think," Seth replied.

"Well you were yelling pretty loudly, must have been a really bad dream."

"It was Asher and Alexa were, not human."

"It was just a dream Hun," She kissed his forehead then got up and walked out of his room. His sister, Carly, peered into Seth's room. He had woken her up too. She stepped in and walked over to Seth.

"When are you going to learn that girls are never human?" She laughed giving him a hug. "I was dreaming about teen wolf," she smiled. "Do you want a drink or anything?"

"I am fine thanks," Seth yawned. "My dream was like Teen Wolf." He made Carly Smile. Amused, she left him to be.

The next day Oliver and Owen prepared for their birthday party. It wasn't going to be too big but Seth, Connor and the girls were going to be there, plus some of Oliver's other friends from school.

Seth yawned as he walked down his the stairs and into the kitchen where he was greeted ungraciously by his dog. The pure white husky, Lady, jumped up from her bed in the kitchen corner and growled.

"Lady," Seth called her over to calm her down. She barked at him but continued to growl, bearing teeth this time. Seth felt a rush run through him and his eyes started to water..

"Lady," he growled this time. The dog stopped barking. She put her head to the ground and looked at Seth. Seth didn't know what had gotten into her but it definitely wasn't her usual behavior.

Oliver and Owen were having the same problem with their two little beagles Soldier and Bullet. They yapped, growled and carried on following Oliver and Owen wherever the twins went. The dogs were so bad that they had to be locked outside while Oliver and Owen prepared for their party.

Every dog barked viciously when Asher and Alexa walked by. They felt like cats in a dog park. Not even sticking to the middle of the road worked.

"Are you okay?" Oliver asked letting them into the house. A Yapper from up the street still barked.

"Yeah, but it's like all the dogs have gone crazy out there," Asher replied putting the presents down on the living room table.

"Crazy?" Owen hugged the girls politely.
