"Aaaack-"

"Shut it, man!" I hissed in a low voice, elbowing my companion as soon as his complaint left his stupid mouth.

Hiding inside the cabinet of the infirmary seemed to be the worst idea I have ever agreed to so far and what makes it worse is the fact that we are hiding in the infirmary to hide from the nurse.

Ironic, am I right?

I tried to move to a more comfortable position inside the dark space but ended up going to a rather troubling posing. My cheeks were pressed to the key hole of the door which was covered in cold hard steel and my behind is not in a very lady-like condition at the moment. My knees were so close to my chin that I could already feel my own warm breath.

Troubling, indeed, yet it seems that my companion has nothing to worry about due to his...  um.. very cute size.

"Sis, stop moving, they might notice us inside!" My younger brother silently scolded me, his pointer finger in front of his mouth signalling me to not just stop squirming but also stop growling. He, then, focused his senses on whatever is happening outside the cabinet we locked ourselves in, but he did that after complaining how little space there was in the cabinet.

Oh, so he's the one who should complain?

He's the one who's ten and is smaller than me by an inch and is thinner, too! He's the one who can move around freely within this cabinet's premises! And he complains that the space was so little?

"That should be my line." I glowered at him. Not that he minded, however. It seemed like his senses already lead him to outer space.

Silence filled the empty space around us.

And that silence just made me even more uncomfortable in my position.

My eyes wandered from my knees, which were, like what I said, so close to my chin already, to my brother who was so focused on looking at completely nothing. Well, if he was staring intensely on the cabinet's wooden side in front of him, it must be so much fun watching wood molecules bump into each other.

Oh, wait. Those cant be seen by the naked eye.

"Sis, your foot is poking my side."

Wow. He even had the nerve to complain about such little things?

I, all of a sudden, was tempted to grab the back of my dear brother's head and slam his face on the wood he's been indifferently looking upon for the past few minutes.

Instead, however, I flashed my widest and fakest smile at him, batting my eyelashes as I did so.

"Is that so, dear brother? Do you want me to kick it, instead?"

He whipped his head at my direction and looked like he would bark at me like a dog that ate chocolate and trust me when I say that is bad for dogs. Especially poodles.

Obviously, my "poor" sense of understanding snapped my brother out of concentration.

Good.

Now, would be the best time to make his skull collide with the cabinet's side.

"The nurse."

Okay, the hand of mine which was already prepared to make my brother kiss the cabinet ceased to put the plan into action after hearing this.

I blinked.

"Um. What?"

My brother grabbed hold of my slanted horizontal back and pushed it down in a jiffy, whispering in a frantic tone, "The freaking nurse is back!"
