Gemi: Everyday I wonder if you still love me. Every time we meet up, only our sighs overlap one another. Every place we go in suddenly quiets down. I want to know the reason why you've been avoiding me these days.

Gemi: Is it because I'm not good enough for you? Am I too unattractive for your tastes? Am I too boisterous? Am I too disrespectful? I just hope you'll tell me why, Virgo.

I frowned at her messages, typing as fast I can. After I finished typing, I sent my messages:

I've been busier these days, sweetie. I've been working harder and harder every night, so I could buy you a gift for our anniversary. The street where my part-time job is located is getting more crowded.

You know, I've been wondering lately if you think that I'm cheating on you, or that I lost my feelings for you. I'm deeply sorry. . . I know my doings may seem suspicious, but I'm not like the other guys who play with women's feelings. I hope you'll understand why I'm coming home to you late at night.

I waited patiently for her to reply back. Well, to be honest, I'm not sure if she'll even reply back. She's probably stressed out and worried about our relationship by now. I mean, we do act like a couple at times, but I'm a naturally busy person to begin with. And I hate that part about myself.

I hope she'll understand me, though, as soon as she'll read my text messages. . .

Gemi: Oh! I'm so sorry, Virg! I didn't mean to act like this. I hope I didn't disturb you with your work though :(((

I smile softly at her sincerity. For your information, reading her text messages warms up the ice surrounding my heart and blesses my worn out eyes.

I then replied to her hastily:

Thank you for your concern, sweetie. It warms my heart to see your concern for me. Please don't tire yourself worrying about 'us' ^^

Gemi: I should be the one to tell you that y'know! You've been working extra hours in that fast food restaurant to get money for my anniversary gift. It's not necessary, Virg. I just want to receive love from you >~<

I squealed like a girl, earning a confused look from my co-worker who was secretly munching on the cheeseburger meant for the customer. I coughed awkwardly and replied:

Awe, you're just so adorable, Gemi. . . This is why I'm working hard to buy you a present on our anniversary. Oh, btw I noticed it's already late— Pls sleep now, sweetie. Goodnight. I love you.

I turned off my phone and placed it in my pocket as I continued to work with perseverance. I decided to do this so that I could buy Gemini a present for being such a loyal and caring girlfriend.
