The Day We Meet

Chapter 1

DARCY POV

Tonight I decided to go to a nightclub because I needed entertainment after what I was experiencing right now.

I did not expect if my happiness was snatched when I believed in love. I saw my ex-fiance having an affair with my own best friend.

Since that time I did not believe in love and I was only focused on pursuing my career and future

I enjoyed vodka until a man approached me. He looks handsome and classy. It seems like he is interested in me.

"Hi beautiful, you don't seem to accompany anyone"

I just shut up without responding to the man. I was too absorbed in my own thoughts and ignored him.

"Why are you silent? Am I bothering you?"

I just glanced briefly then left the man. He went after me and pulled my hand.

"Hey, why are you leaving?"

"Let go of my hand! You hurt me!"

"I will not let go of your hand before you answer my question!"

" What do you want to ask?!"

" What is your name?"

"That's none of your business! Let go of my hand!"

"If you don't want to answer, I won't let you go!"

I'm very upset with this man. From now on he always forced me to obey his will.

"My name is Darcy!"

Finally he took off my hand and pulled my body to his arms. Then he kissed me in front of many people until I pushed his body and slapped his face.

"You impudent man! Never touch me again !!"

I left the man and walked towards the car. Then I immediately returned to my apartment.

FRANK POV

Tonight I experienced bad luck because I met a woman who was temperamental. I have never met such an easily emotional woman

Most women who meet me always ask attention from me and I smother them with affection.

Different from Darcy. She just ignored me and managed to embarrass me in public. My cheeks still hurt from the slap on my face.

"Honey, why are your cheeks like this?"

"You don't have to ask much! Quickly compress my face!"

"Alright, but you don't snap at me like that! I'm your lover!"

"Who thinks of you as a lover? Have you forgotten that you have been begging for love and attention from me ?!"

"You are indeed evil! Enough for you to humble me!"

Joyce Reeves is a woman who has been warming my bed. Our relationship is limited to friends and nothing more.

But over time she demands more from me and I'm sick of facing her childish attitude.

"If you want to go, go ahead! I don't forbid you!"

"You really have no heart! All this time I have survived because I sincerely love you but your treatment of me is always rude!"

"I never forced you to be with me because I didn't want commitment with anyone!"

Joyce left me and now I need time to be alone after what I experienced tonight was so hard.

My head felt dizzy from drinking too much vodka. I started to rest and tried to close my eyes but still couldn't fall asleep because of thinking about the incident at the club.

I think I'm still upset with that guy. He snatched my first kiss and I really hated him. I wish I hadn't met him because he brought bad luck to my future and I didn't want that to happen
