Chapter 1

Hajime pov:
I woke up in my cottage. It was actually the first night I spent here on the island, right? Since I got to here I was and I AM really confused but since everyone including me had fun yesterday at the beach I guess this should not be that bad. I got up from the bed and got on my regular clothes. I opened the door and as I was heading to the restaurant I saw the white haired boy with green-gray eyes and green jacket on walking from his cottage. It was Nagito Komaeda. "morning ko" I said waving at him. As he noticed me his eyes lit up. "Good morning Hinata-kun!" He waved back with cheerful smile on his face. I couldn't help but think that looked cute a bit. "Heading to the restaurant already?" Ko said. "yeah" I replied. "Same" ko answered once again. To be honest I don't know him that long yet but I think I should get a little close to him and get to know him more. Besides the point of this school trip is being friends as Usami said anyway. "Sooo should we get going?" " OH! Sorry Ko! I spaced out for a minute. Let's go" We both got the restaurant and as expected we saw Akane eating her her food and Next to her was Togami joining her. I also saw Mahiru talking to Ibuki, Hiyoko and Mikan when they were also eating their food. On the other side of the room was Souda talking to Gundum and Sonia. Right next to them was Fuyuhiko and Peko sitting and eating in little sailents. As for Nekomaru and Teruteru they were watching Akane and Togami eat. I took some food before those two could eat it and searched for a good place to eat. Komaeda also followed me. I saw Chiaki playing on her PSP with the food in front of her. It didn't look like she even took a little bite of it. I sat down on the chair in front of her and looked at her once again. "Nanami-Chan, I know you're the shsl gamer but you still need to eat" I said poking her at her check. She didn't look like reacting to me at all. "I don't wanna.." She said still focusing on her PSP. "C'mon" "nah" "Nanami-san! I won't let the symbol of hope die in starvation! I know it sounds so off from trash like me but the hope like you needs to eat to be healthy!" Komaeda said. Dang.. I didn't expect him to say something like this AT ALL. Chiaki sighed and putted her PSP on the table and took a bite of some rice she had. I just looked at Ko with suprice but also amazed by the fact that he forced Chiaki to eat. I wonder what he has been through though to say some line like that out of nowhere. "Oh hey Hinata-kun, are you alright? Is something wrong?" Ko said with little bit of bagle stock on his face. "N-no n-nothing, I'm okay!" I said awkwardly waving my hands. "...if you say so.." He said looking like I was lying.

[TIME SKIP]

"Hey Hinata-kun?.." As I was standing up from the table with the plate in my hands I turned around to see Komaeda tapping a hand on my shoulder. "Yes, what is it Ko?" I asked. It looked like he was hesitating a little but then he finally said. "L-look.. Do you wanna hang out toda-today?.." Ko said with little bit shy expression. I nodded and smiled at him. He looked surprised "W-wow! R-really? You would really waste your time with trash like me to hang out? Wow I'm so happy that wouldn't be even supriced that-" "Ko!" "huh?" "you're not a Trash so stop putting yourself down on what ever reason you call yourself for it, you're really smart and kind and cu- I mean nice so D-don't push yourself down" I accidentally said a word I didn't want to. Dammit hopefully he didn't hear it. "... O-okay a-as you say so.." he looks at me with blush on his face. Dammit so he heard it. I don't know what will he think of me now. I putted the plate to the other plates and got outside. I was standing in front of the pool waiting for Ko to arrive. It took only 7 minutes and Ko finally arrived. "Ah.. Sorry Hinata-kun, I got some problems. Mikan fell again on the floor and we tried to help her up. Anywayyyy" Ah.. I see. "should we go now?" I said with little smile on my face. "Of course!" he said with cheerful smile.
