"Okay I'll see you tomorrow." said the girl with red hair, as she waved to her friends. She skipped down the trail leading to her house. 6th grade was hard and so was paying bills. The girl, Daisy, finally got to her house and walked inside.
Screaming in horror, Daisy ran back outside. Sadly for Daisy she tripped and fell. Her pretty white dress getting dirty. She wanted to get up and run, but her small body wouldn't move. Daisy screamed in horror as she looked into her house.
Mommy's head wasn't suppose to twist like that, and daddy's head shouldn't be detached from his body. Mommy's legs were bent forward and arms were twisted at different angles. Daddy's arm was in mommy. Like he was grabbing her heart, but got stuck.
It soon grew dark and Daisy was still sitting there. She was wishing upon a star when she heard a snapping noise. Not someone stepping on a twig snap, a bone snapping.
Daisy lowered her head to look back into the house and her eyes widened in terror. Her mommy's head was now staring strait at her, a smile on her lips. Daddy's head was on the porch now, and Daisy can see that nether of her parents had their eyes.
She watched as her mommy stretched out and cracked all her bones back into place. Daddy's body ripped his hand out of mommy and was holding something. His body stood up without a problem and started walking towards Daisy.
Poor Daisy was paralyzed. She shut her eyes after seeing her mommy crawling around, using her left leg and right arm as feet, and right leg and left arm as hands.
"One, two, three.." Daisy counted, her eyes screwed tightly together. "four..five..six.."
She felt it, she felt someone touching her hair. Her soft red hair. Daisy was tempted to open her eyes but some thing told her not too. I don't mean that little guy in your shoulder that tells you if you should or shouldn't do something. Something was whispering to Daisy.
"Daisy. Oh Daisy." it sang. "Don't open your eyes just yet love."
One thing about Daisy that wasn't a good trait.
She hated being told what to do.
So Daisy opened her innocent green eyes. She couldn't even get a scream out before her daddy and mommy's bodied were dragging her inside. They covered her mouth with something and threw her in a dark room.
"Tsk tsk Daisy. I told you not to open your eyes." whispered a voice, "Now this is going to be painful...really painful."
Daisy let out a blood hurling scream as she felt pain everywhere, it felt like someone was picking at her brain, stabbing her heart with a needle, cutting her open with a simple butter knife.
But it soon disappeared. Along with that glint in Daisy's eyes, that beautiful kid spark.
It's gone. Daisy Marie Johnson was gone, but not dead.
As Daisy felt her body hit the ground with a thud, she didn't move. She was laying limp on the ground of the dark attic, looking strait ahead. There was something there, something tall. It wasn't her mommy, or her daddy.
It was a grandfather clock.
"Tick tock goes the clock." a voice whispered.
"Tick tock goes the clock." another said.
"Tick tock," starts a different one, "goes the clock."
Daisy was tired. Hearing those voices were calming to her. Daisy's eyes soon closed and the only thing she could hear was her mommy and daddy saying,
"Tick tock, Daisy."
"Tick tock goes the clock."
