Raffele P.O.V

I got outside to see Luca had done his job. Their were 2 vans and a car waiting for me and Blair.

''Let's go I'll drive'' Said Luca and tried to pull the car door open. I pushed my hand down on it before it fully opened.

''You stay here and hold down the fort'' I shook my head.

''Fine'' He went to the other side and open the passenger side for Blair. She thanked him and got in.

''Stay safe'' he kissed her on the top of her head and got in.

'' You too'' she shut the door. I got in and dabbed up Luca through the window and got in and drove, both vans following. 5 minutes into the drive Blair spoke up.

''What if we never find her or when we do Carter did something to her'' She said. I growled at the thought on that bastard touching Valeria.

''We will and its going to be fine I promise'' I answered.

'When we were about 2 minutes from the spot both vans stopped and hid like instructed .Blair and I got to what looked like an abandoned coffee shop. To our surprise the front was empty. Till Carter came out.

''Hello Blair darling, Don Romano'' He bowed his head sarcastically.

''Where is she'' Blair ignored his little jokes.

''Don't be so hostile your friend is in there Ramano just has to come with me to release her.

''Let's go'' I nudged my head to the door.

''After you'' He let me walked in and he followed leaving Blair outside.Their was only about 20 men with him we had 35 it would be an easy win with the element o surprise.

''Release her'' I turned to face him ''Now''

''Don't be harsh'' Carter said. ''Let the girl go'' he nudge his man. After 2 minutes I still hadn't seen Valeria.

''Where is she'' I was getting annoyed.

''Outside with her friend I open the door out back no question she has already broke the chain to be able to walk'' Carter said, now your going to take her place he pushed a gun to my head. ''Walk'' I did as he said knowing if he really released Valeria my men would come in any minutes.

like predicted gun shoots rang out announcing the coming of my men. While Carter was in shock I grabbed the gun out his hand and pointed it at him. The gun shoots had came to a stop. I pointed at the seat in the door and he followed my silent order and sat down.

''Give me one good reason I shouldn't kill you right now'' I asked.

''You won't kill me'' even at his death is still arrogant.

''And why is that'' I raised an eyebrow. Just than Blair came in the door.

''Raffele'' she said ''let's go''

''One seco-'' Than I heard a door opening. I turned to faced the door and the last thing I saw was Carter smile as he disappeared out.

''FUCK''I yelled out.

''Rafele we will worry about him later one of Carter's men said there is a bomb it could blow any minute'' She pleaded with me. I started walking toward the door and she took it as a sign. She lead me all the way to Valeria.

''Valeria'' She was leaning on the car looking as beautiful as ever. When I was close enough I pulled her into my arms.

''Can you two please get in the car I would truly prefer to say alive'' Blair got in the back.

''Right'' Valeria pulled away from me into the passenger seat. I went around the car to drive. I pulled out the parking lot and got the hell out of there.

''Are you ok? any injures?'' I looked over her body to see if she was ok.

''Other than a minor headache am good'' She but her hand on top of mines. ''Did you kill Carter'' That cause me to grip the wheel tighter.

''No the twerp got away'' I said.

''You know he won't stop trying.Right'' Blair poked her head forward.

''That why you and Valeria are going to continue to try to eliminate the person who was messing with my business'' I shrugged.

''Ok'' Blair sat back.

''At least I know what he wants from you. He wantS to take over your business take your spot. '' Valeria said.

''Too fucking bad itS never going to happen'' I said. Just than we pulled up to my house. Luca came out the door and scoped Blair into his arms.

''Am assuming that the threat is killed'' He said when he finally put her down.

''No he ran way'' Blair said.

''What now'' He asked.

''We wait and look around when he strikes again we finish him than'' Valeria said and I couldn't agree more.
