7th grade Y/n
You were walking home one day. You thought your life was great. You had good grades. A great family. An amazing boyfriend. Life couldn't get any better, you thought.
You were right.
You arrived at your house. When you walked upstairs, you saw a note on your parent's door.
Dear Y/n,
We will be gone for a little bit. Please take care of your brothers. Don't know when we will be back.
You sighed. Not thinking about it, you did your homework and went to bed.
2 months later
They still weren't back. You were getting scared.
You also noticed that your boyfriend, Park Jimin, has been avoiding you, and seems to be pretty close with the new girl. You suspected he was cheating but didn't want to be upfront about it.
2 more months later
They still weren't back. So you just gave up wondering. You took care of your twin brothers, Taehyung and Namjoon, who were in 5th grade. You did your schoolwork. Everything was fine.
Your uncle Seokjin heard about your incident, and he grew furious towards your parents. He invited you and your brothers to live with him in New York. You didn't want to leave Korea, but you were running out of money for food, water, bills, etc. You quickly agreed.
One day at school, you were walking past a classroom when you peeked inside, because you were looking for your English teacher, Mr. Min.
When you looked in, you saw Jimin.
Making out with another girl.
You wanted to run to him and slap him. But all you could do was walk away.
You expected tears to fall, but nothing came. To be honest, you were kind of expecting it to happen sooner or later. You didn't have the best looks, you were short, and you were a little on the chubby side. All you did was write a note.
Dear Jimin,
I understand that you don't want to be in a relationship with me anymore. I understand why you like her. She is everything I'm not. Skinny, tall, pretty, everything. Treat her well. Don't do to her what you did to me.

You knew he would see it tomorrow at the end of school.
The next day
You were talking with your friend, when you saw Jimin open his locker. The note fell out. He looked down, picked it up, opened it and read it. His expressions changed from confusion, to suprised, to overwhelmed with sadness. You turned away so he wouldn't see you staring.
A few seconds later you felt someone watching you. You turned and saw Jimin staring at you. He bit his lip, but not seductively. You could see his eyes shining with soon to be tears.
You smiled sadly. You started walking towards the airport, because you were supposed to meet your brothers there when you heard somebody call your name.
"Y/N!!!"
You turned and saw Jimin. He was standing out front of the school doors, tears finally streaming down his face.
You didn't want to talk to him. So you turned and ran. While not in the best shape, you were still pretty fast.
You heard his heavy footsteps behind you. You kept running until you got to the airport. You walked to the doors, but then again, you heard his voice.
"Y/n, please, let me expla-" He stopped short when he realized where you were. He turned to look at you.
Again, you smiled sadly and said, "Have an amazing life, Park Jimin," and closed the door in his face.
