Chapter- 14

*Usha Pov*

We drew apart and he immediately left. I couldn't believe this had happened, it was my first. . . . . . 
I slowly touched my lips and remembered it again. His lips, they were so tender and gentle. I couldn't stop thinking about it & blushing.
I texted him " Lets go to date after exam".
I never felt this way before and I didn't want this feeling to end.

At school

"Aish Usha focus and write your exam" I told myself for the 5th time. I was still blushing about yesterdaym
After the bell rang we went for lunch
"How was your exam?" I asked
"Huh?" He said blankly
"Whats wrong, you look spaced out" I asked
"Nothing, it went fine. And yours?" He replied and asked back
"Ahh! I don't know. . . Someone took away my soul yesterday, I couldn't think" I teased him & he looked flustered
"By the way, where are we going?" He asked changing the topic
"Umm, how about the cafe near the park?" I asked and he agreed
"I'll pick you up at 5pm then tomorrow" he said and I nodded

Tomorrow

I was waiting for him since 30 mins but there was no sign of him. I turned to go alone but suddenly one of the loanshark appeared. He gavd me a smirk and marched towards me & I took steps backwards.
"Seems like you have been fine living off my money" he said
"Ajh- - Ajhussi, I'll return it" I stammered
"No!no, I'll just take you with me instead" he said and pulled me by my hand but before he could take me, his grip on my hand loosened and I heard a voice
"Leave her alone"
It was Jimin, he took a step infront of me and locked the man in his arms. I went infront of him
"Ajhussi, this is not how you treat girls" I said angrily
"Aish whats this? First you eat my money and now this. . . . You little" before he could complete his sentence, Jimin tightened the grip making him groan in pain.
"Was it me who took your money? I'm not, it was my dad. Then why are you doing this to me... Go after him" I said almost breaking down
"Ajhussi, don't come after me again" I said & he left.
"Are you okay?" Jimin asked
"Um, lets go to the park instead" I said and he nodded.

At the park *Jimin Pov*

"Are you really fine?" I asked again
"I said I'm fine" she said again & took a deep breath.
"Is he doing fine?" She said while looking towards the sky.
"Your dad?" I asked looking at her
"Um, is he doing fine by leaving us, leaving me like this to suffer now & then" she said again and sighed
"Was this the same man from before?" I asked curiously
"Um, he was. He had attacked me near the alley of our house but luckily oppa saved me" she said & paused
"Wait, how did you know?" She asked
"Um. . .  . Your mom said" I replied
"Ah! My mom is quite protective & sensitive. All mom's are right?" She said looking at me
"I-- I don't know, I don't have a mom" I replied
"Oh! I'm sorry" she said looking apologetic
"No don't be. . . . I am not as well" I replied
"Huh?" She looked at me questiongly
"I hate my mom" I replied
"What? Why?" She asked
"Well, she married my dad for money and left him & ran away with his money. But my dad sincerely loved her alot and couldn't bare it and passed away" I replied to her
I don't know why I was sharing all this to her but it felt light inside. I kept it all inside for too long.
"But your dad you said" she said & I cut her off midway
"He's my ajhussi but he looked after me all this year so I call him appa" I said
"Ah! You okay?" She asked patting my shoulder
"Yeah, it was a long time back. . . I don't remember it all. My grandpa said it to me" I replied and smiled at her.
"Its getting back, let me take you home" I said & we went to her home
"Jimin-ah" she called
"Hm?"
"Thanks for sharing your story. I hope you feel relieved after letting it all out" she said
"Yes it did" I smiled and kissed her forehead.
"Sleepwell" I added and left.

{Days passed and the result day was coming closer}
D-1   *Usha Pov*

I was watching the TV, when my phone rang, it was Jimin. I immediately picked it up
"Yeah" I said
"Um, actually I left my business book at your place. So " he said
"Oh! I'll bring it to you" I replied and hung up
I got dressed and left for his place. The door was open, so I just went in. I was about to go upstairs when I heard a shout
"You still haven't told her?" A voice said
"Jimin! She likes you!" The voice shouted again and I saw Jimin and his dad talking
"Appa I know that" Jimin said
I felt wrong to listen so I turned to leave but what I heard next stopped me
"Then? Don't you think she will be hurt if she finds out that you played her to score better than her in exams?"

[Jimin's secret is revealed.
What will Jimin do next? What will Usha do now that she has found out the truth? Will she forgive him and continue the relationship?
