The Good News

CHAPTER 4

Megan'a POV

"and we danced all night to the best song ever!..."

I sing as I watch their new music video, apparently dancing at the same time too.

"I think we went ooh ooh yeah yeah yeah I think it goes!.."

I danced around the house like a complete idiot. and suddenly I heard some knock on the door.

"yeah! coming!" I said and run to my door.

"yes?" I said.

"hi Megan!!" Gemma greeted me.

"I didn't know you were coming!, anyways come in!" I said excitedly.

"haha sorry to bother you but I just wanna hang out" she said.

"nah its fine. oh want some juice or something?"

"nah I'm good. oh I bought you strawberry ice cream!" she said excitedly.

"ohmygod! its my favourite! but you don't have to!" I said, but on the half of me is telling me to get the ice cream.

"I insist ya know, I know that you want it"

"haha! great thinkin' their! thanks!" and I take the ice cream.

"so by the way I came here to fetch you" she said.

"why? where are we going?" I asked confused.

"erm..its because..." she said.

"its because what?"

"because...were going to a vacation with the lads!" she squealed.

"OH..MY..GOSH!! really?"

"uhuh! and guess what?" she said.

"what?" I ask.

"Were going to Paris!"

"really?" I said.

"yep!" she said excitedly.

but I realised something.

"Oh. I just realized something.."

"what is it?" she asked.

"were not even close friends and now you are inviting me to go with you guys." I said sadly.

"aw. it doesn't matter Meg, I'm even glad that I met you..its just I feel something.." she said

"what?"

"its just...I dunno maybe something tells me that..we've known each other a long time ago"

"yeah Gemma I feel that too, I don't know but just I feel so close to you" I said..

"yeah! so that means you are my twin!" she said.

"haha! yeah right!"

"so..please come with us Meg..but I appreciate if you're not going"

"aw..of course I'd love to!" I said.

"thanks Meg!" and hugs me.

"uhh...did I interrupt you guys?" Harry suddenly speak.

I feel awkward

"no! of course not!" I said.

"uhm..so...did Gemma told you about the..erm..vacation trip?" Harry said.

"yeah! are you coming too?" I asked.

"of course I woudn't miss it for the world!" Harry squealed like a 5 year old girl.

"okay then! its settled!"

after some, talking, teasing, laughing and even running we got tired and eat some take out lasagna that Harry bought hours ago. then after that an awkward silence come.

"so.." Harry speak up, breaking the silence.

"yeah?" I said.

"oh! hey Meg don't forget to pack you things for tomorrow!" Gemma said excitedly.

"what?! tomorrow?! you didn't tell me it was going to be tomorrow?!" I said in shock.

"haha..sorry" Gemma said.

"its okay, but how 'bout my brother Jay? he didn't know that I'm going to Paris" I said.

"oh that. I already told him" Gemma said.

"how?" Harry and I both said.

"easy, because Christine is a friend of mine and Christine's boyfriend is you brother right?" she said with a grin.

"yeah! woah that's cool!" I said.

"so its all settled then? Harry asked.

"yeah" Gemma said.

"Paris here we come!" the three of us both said laugh

after that they both went home and said 'goodbyes' and as usual Harry kissed me on the cheecks as well as Gemma, they say they do that to they're close friends, well now I know why.

and I didn't even notice that I fall asleep and before I drifted to sleep I said.

"Paris here we come..."
