Chapter 3 Pain

3rd POV
In an abandoned warehouse by the outskirts of the city. You could hear muffled screams as delirium cut and killed a girl with blond hair. Brock sat right against the girl that was being murder right in front of his eyes. Delirium was satisfied to see the girl dead. Delirium used his knife to cut a good amount of flesh off the girls body.

Brock only looked at the ground as tears fell down his face. Brock seen many things like this but he himself never seen the person die or killed them before. Brock felt power less to help anyone. Delirium lifted up his mask a little to reveal sharp teeth. Delirium put the piece of flesh on his tongue and swallowed it. Small drips of blood fell down his lips onto his chin.

Brock was to detracted to even looks delirium. Delirium licked and whipped his face. Delirium lowered his mask over his face. Delirium cut another piece of flesh off the dead corpse and walked over towards Brock. Delirium slowly took off the gag around Brock's mouth.

Brock finally noticed the piece of flesh in delirium hand. "W-What are you going to do with that?" Brock asks. Delirium only smirked at Brock. "I'm not going to enjoy this meal on my own." Delirium says. Brock's eyes widened and he scoots back. Delirium only pinned Brock against the wall. Delirium dug his fingernails into Brock's neck. Brock groaned out of pain and delirium forced the piece of flesh onto Brock's mouth only to keep Brock mouth shut.

"Swallow it." Delirium growled. Brock felt tears falling more down his face as he could taste the mixture of blood and the flesh in his mouth. Delirium growled and started chocking Brock. "I said swallow." Delirium growled know with his red glowing eyes. Brock finally managed to swallow it. Delirium let Brock go as Brock began gasping for air and began coughing. Delirium smirked underneath his mask. "This is going to be so much fun." Delirium smirked as Brock's eyes began filling with tears.

Delirium brought Brock into a room and chained Brock's wrist. Delirium made different tools appear out on a table. Delirium grabbed the knife and walked towards Brock. Delirium began cutting into Brock's skin. Brock held in the pain as delirium kept cutting. Once delirium was done he began grabbed a brass with a symbol at the end. Delirium put it into a bat of burning coals.

Delirium left it and grab two electrical cord they use cars and grabbed a huge battery. "Let's see how high we can make this electrical battery go." Delirium laugh. Delirium turned on the battery and began electrocuting Brock. Brock didn't start screaming until delirium brought the level to 180 volts.

Once delirium stopped Brock was breathing heavily. "Huh for a human you sure can last." Delirium says. "Y-you w-will b-be sc-screwed Delirium." Brock growled. "How so?" Delirium asked interested. "O-once they find out w-what your d-doing to me. I-i k-know Evan and Brian w-will kil-kill y-you." Brock says.

"I would like to see them try." Delirium growled as he grabbed the brass. Delirium placed the heated brass on Brock's skin making Brock cry out. Delirium put the brass back into the coals. Delirium walked up to Brock and Brock spit in Delirium's face. Delirium growled and grab Brock by his throat.

"I have a lot of things planned for you." Delirium growled. Delirium let go of Brock as he grabbed a baseball bat from the table. Delirium swung the baseball bat at Brock. Brock let out a few painful grunts. Pretty soon Brock would know about real pain.

3 hours later

By time delirium was done Brock was barely even awake. Every inch of Brock's body was covered in blood, Cuts, burns, electrical burns, and Bruises. Delirium used every kind of weapon he could. Brock revived a good amount of broken bones. "Have anything to say Brock?" Delirium asks.

"I-I'm n-not D-dead y-yet b-bitch." Brock hissed out. Delirium growled at Brock's comment. "I'm going to make sure you go threw hell Brock." Delirium growled. "W-will s-see." Brock says. Delirium growled and left pretty quickly leaving Brock to fade into unconsciousness.

Yet Brock and Delirium where going to be in for a huge surprise because three people where waiting in the darkness. Two no one would have expected to do anything for anyone.

Tyler's POV
I was with Brian to pick up his two kids. "Brian you okay?" I asked. "To be honest no this is the second time a fu- demon took Brock. The first time Vanti used an amulet to let moo take over Brock's mind and body. Brock's never hurt anyone in a long let alone killed an innocent. Imagine the guilt knowing you murder someone even though you have sworn to protect them." Brian says. "To be honest it would eat me up inside." I said.

"Yeah that's exactly what it did to Brock." Brian says. "Huh I've never even noticed." I said. "No one did expected for me I knew he was hurting but I'm scared to figure out what Delirium can do." Brian says. "All of are scared of what Delirium is capable of especially when it compares to Evan getting his powers back and delirium easily taking Amethyst out with just one hand motion." I said. "Yeah I know." Brian says.

Brian pulled up to Nicole's school Adam was with her. Both of them hopped into the car. "Hi dad where's mom?" Nicole asks. I looked at Brian and Brian went silent. "Their old enough to know. All of us have told ours." I said. "Old enough to know what?" Adam asks. "Adam Nicole there's something I need to tell you but you can't tell anyone else or it will put a lot of people at risk okay." Brian says. Nicole and Adam looked at each other and nodded their heads.

Brian drove back home and all of us headed inside. "Nicole Adam sit down please." Brian says. Both of them sat down on the couch. Brian told them what happened and what job we do. "Demons and angels are real?" Adam asks. "Yes they are and demon are extremely dangerous me and the others have destroyed a few." Brian says. "Then why is Delirium so powerful and why does he have mom?" Nicole asks.

"Because he's a very dangerous demon Evans father had to us seal spells to keep him at bay. Then Delirium escape and he was able to take out Amethyst who's an angel. We don't know why he has your mom but he does and we're doing everything we can to bring him back." I said. "Dad what does Delirium look like?" Nicole asks. "He looks like our friend Jon but instead he has a black mask with blue triangles, red open hoodie, black shirt, black pants, and red eyes." Brian says.

Nicole seemed scared all of a sudden. "Nicole What is it?" I asked. "I've seen him around my school. I thought it was just my mind playing tricks but I've seen him." Nicole says. "Nicole was he their today?" Brian asks. "Yes and I saw blood on his mask." Nicole says. "What?" Adam asks. "It was fresh blood you don't think that it's-." Nicole says only to cut herself off. "Tyler call Evan know." Brian demanded.
