So, I chose to stay.

Even though it was a hard choice, after all the things that had happened in the past month.

I wanted to leave.

I wanted to start again, something new, to let go of everything.

But so many people, that I never expected, convinced me that I am loved.

That I don't have to let go of everything for happiness.

That no one can let me go that easily.

I was surprised to see so many people crying and begging me to not leave.

And they restored my faith that something will change.

It was nondescript as I can't look into the future, hahahahaha.

But I'm willing to give it another chance.

Because life is all about second chances.

And who knows? Like what Doyoung said: "You can find happiness wherever you are."

Moon Mirae's foot pressed hard on the gas pedal, causing the car to accelerate on the road, in the silent autumn night in Seoul. Her fingers grasped vehemently on the steering wheel, tears streaming down her face.

She couldn't take it anymore.

Everything is unfair and she wanted it to change.

She's tired of living like this.

Though she promised someone to continue living, she doesn't care anymore.

That someone is dead now and the promise doesn't matter anymore.

The ringing of her phone snapped her out of her thoughts and she leaned sideways, one hand digging into the glove box to search for it. A frustrated groan escaped her lips when she couldn't find it. Her hand undid the seatbelt wrapping around her body and she took off her hand from the steering wheel, reaching out to search for the device. She sighed in annoyance when she found what she was looking for. She answered it without looking at the phone screen, as her left hand held the steering wheel to continue driving.

"Hello?" She answered, only to hear white noise greeting her. Her forehead creased as she pulled the phone away to look at the screen.

Unknown Number

She was about to hang up when she heard noises at the end of the line. Hastily, her fingers pressed the phone back to her ear.

"You asked for a change and that's what you'll get."

An alarming honk pulled her attention back on the road.

The last thing she heard was her scream, the sound of brakes and glass shattering.
