"Jungkoook, run!"
A flash of light. Fire. The earth rattled around the young boy, the words "wake up" being repeated over and over again in a loud, echoing voice as tears streamed down Jungkook's face.
"Jungkook, wake up."
Gasping for air, Jungkook's eyes flew open. His heart was racing, and he was drenched in sweat. Yoongi was hovering over him, panting.
"You're so pale, Jungkook-ah. Do you need to go back to the hospital wing?"
Jungkook shook his head, sitting up, finally catching his breath. Yoongi sat facing towards him at the foot of his bed, analyzing the young boy's face. His hair was sticking up in every direction possible, and his now pale skin was dotted with beads of sweat. A ding from Yoongi's cell phone indicated that Jin had viewed and replied to his urgent message for help. Jin had been given the task to keep an eye on Jungkook by Professor Dumbledore himself, giving him access to the Slytherin dormitories at any given moment.
06:49 to Jin:
Jungkook is crying in his sleep. Malfoy is down in the common room complaining about it. Probably another nightmare, you should come right away.07:04 from Jin:
Just woke up. On my way.It had been a month since Jungkook left the hospital wing because of his now reoccurring nightmares. Yoongi knew better than to ask what the dreams were about, even though he was certain Jin would tell him if asked. Whatever they were, Yoongi assumed they were absolutely terrifying to not only Jungkook, but the headmaster as well. Why else would he need to be watched?
The younger boy shook his head. He didn't want nor need to go to the hospital wing. They were just dreams after all. Terrifying, but dreams nonetheless. The look of worry lingered on Yoongi's face for a moment longer until the door swung open to reveal Jin. He was clutching a night robe tightly around his chest, unfamiliar with the chill of the dungeons. As he made his way to Jungkook's bed, Draco followed behind, fuming.
"What are you doing here? You're a Ravenclaw," he complained, looking at Jin in disgust.
"And you're a brat," replied Jin, rolling his eyes. "What I'm doing here is absolutely none of your business. Get ready for the day and go to breakfast."
Mumbling under his breath, Malfoy did as he was told, while Jin sat on the edge of the bed. He sat in silence as he scanned Jungkook's mind for a moment. Jungkook was used to it by now, the psychic thing. Moments passed before Jin sighed.
"The same dream again?" Jin said, and Jungkook replied with a simple nod. A frown found it's way across Jin's face. He smoothed down the hair sticking up on Jungkook's head, watching the color come back to Jungkook's cheeks.
"Do you know what these dreams mean, Jin?" asked Yoongi, who was sat cross-legged at the foot of Jungkook's bed. Jin pursed his lips and shook his head.
"I can't say right now. But it's not good."
"Who are those people, hyung? In my dream?" Jungkook asked. Jin only shook his head.
"I'll tell you when there's no one else around. Just get ready for the day. There's a Quidditch match today! It'll be fun."
Jin left the dormitory shortly after, leaving only Jungkook and Yoongi in the dormitory. Giving Jungkook a weak smile, Yoongi followed suit, the door gently closing behind him. Jungkook seized the opportunity to get dressed, quickly changing into some of his Muggle clothes. He walked out into the common room to find Yoongi in emerald green robes, what seemed like a small bat in his right hand, typing something into his phone with his left.
