Its the very first day of summer. The sun is shining brightly, through the curtains of my windows, directly at my eyes. It woke me up but I really don't mind because today, my best friend is taking me to see Lucy, where Scarlett Johansson starred in, which I'm pretty pumped up about.
After I took a shower, wore ripped jeans and a my muscle tee top that states "Whatever Forever", and ate breakfast, I told my parents that I'll be meeting Zayn by the park. They just nodded. They were busy watching "The Five Year Engagement". Yeah, I know, early in the morning and they're watching a romantic comedy movie. But, we are that kind of family who would be watching movies and reading any genre of novels when we can.

As I was making my way to the park, my neighbor approached (actually running) me.
"Hey" she shouted.
"Uhm... Hello Jen" I turned to her direction and responded.
"Hey, I would like to ask you. Would you be willing to help me next saturday on... uhm... Its actually" changing her stance. "I'll be fetching my cousin in the airport tomorrow afternoon and no one wants to go with me."
Looking at her skeptically, I asked "How about Kelly?" She started to laugh a little and calm down to respond to me. "Your big sister? As if she'd go with me and waste 2 hours idling in a car ride. She'd rather study. You know she's very studious and has car sickness."
I became confused. "But you two are best friends. I think she can make an exception." She started laughing again. I easily got irritated. She keeps laughing and won't go straight to the point.
"I know her too well and if I force her, she'll just be irritated by me for asking over and over again." She explained.
She does know her well.
She asked me again "So, yes or no?" I am very easy to persuade so, I answered yes. She keeps jumping around and hugging me. When her little celebration is over, she bid her goodbye.
I was 2 minutes late when I arrived at the park and met Zayn. He really didn't mind though. I like that personality of him, patient.
As you know, Zayn is also my neighbor. I met up with him today at the park because he stayed at his aunt's house to help her paint her new study.

We are already at Sun Castle, a mall here in our town. We started to go inside stores and try on clothes and never buy what we try. That went on for 2 hours. Then, Zayn offered to buy us tickets for the movie. After that, we ate at Mcdonald's. We just ordered 2 packs of Chicken McNuggets, fries, burgers and sundaes.
After eating, we roam around the mall and we passed by a bookstore. I practically dragged Zayn inside because I know he's not the kind of person to read books but he loves to draw. When I entered, I started to wander around the many aisles and bookshelves of the bookstore. While I was wandering, a specific book caught my eye. I picked it up, read the summary and rushed to find Zayn.
I was looking for Zayn so I can borrow money from him but he's not inside the bookstore. So, I went out and scanned the surroundings.
"ZAAYYNN!" I shouted.
He turned around. I ran up to him. When I reached him, I was panting. Desperate for air.
"Zayn... you've got... to... to lend me... me money." I said in heaps of breath.
"For what?" he asked with wide eyes.
"I saw... this book... "The Summer... I... Turned... Pretty" and I... really, really... really... want to buy it." I explained between breaths.
"How much do you need?"
I was shocked. He's not the one to let anyone borrow money from him that eaily, even to his brother.
"I think 10 dollars" I said shly.
"Okay? Don't you have like 35 dollars with you when we came?" he suddenly realized.
"But, Kelly's Birthday is coming up and I want to giver her something really precious and not like... like last year."
"Oh... I remember!" He said in fits of laughters.
"DON'T!" I shouted, warning him.
"Okay. Okay, I won't." Grinning wickedly at me.
I remembered that I was borrowing money from him but he started laughing again, clutching his stomach, head banging and patting me in the shoulders.
"Hey! Stop laughing and let me borrow 10 dollars!"
"Fine, fine" taking out his wallet and getting 20 dollars. "Here," handing it to me. "We wouldn't want last year to happen again. Wouldn't we?" smirking at me.
I punched him in the arm and stomp back to Ranch Book. I went back to the aisle where the bookshelf of "The Summer I Turned Pretty" was. I'm pretty picky on the book's condition. So, I picked the one which looks like its in its perfect condition.
I went to the counter. There was a small line that moves pretty slow. I was feeling a bit lonely and now a bit guilty. "What Ifs" filled my mind. While I was lost in thoughts, I felt something, or more like someone's arms wrap around my waist. I was feeling warm against the person's cold arms. So, I held the right hand and I instantly felt my heart pound nervously against my chest that I can clearly hear it with my ears. Then, a chin was placed on the crook of my shoulders and the person's breathing was fast, which made me feel a little bit tickled. I let out a giggle.
He laughed.
I know that laugh. I really know that laugh like its the back of my hands.
I turned around. It was him. It was really him! I gave him a hug and he held me tight. He lets go of me after a moment. I smiled at him. He returned it with his bright, shiny grin.
"Hey, did you miss me?"

First Chappie done. Some things in here are just made up. Like the bookstore, the mall and some of the names of the characters
