It has just been reported that Niall Horan an official member of the famous 'One Direction' boy band has recently proposed to his newly found Australian girlfriend, Sophie Candy. The fresh couple were first spotted sharing a kiss at Brisbane's Botanical Gardens with Niall dropping down to his knee and opening a black Harry WInston ring box. How have we never known about this adorable couple? Niall Horan came into Channel 9 to explain:
Reporter: It's amazing how you and Sophie have managed to keep your relationship so quiet and such a secret, but now tell us how you met and why you wanted to stay so quiet.
Niall: Well, (he said as he embraced Sophie's hand) it all began at one of my concerts...Sophie had managed to score a back stage pass that she bought for $2 000 on a website and she told me that she had been saving for 2 whole years from all her work money to come and meet me. When she came backstage she was shaking and crying I walked up to her to give her a hug and she just stopped shaking as soon as I had my arms around her, so from there I guess it was just pretty obvious.
Repoter: That's so touching Niall what a true love story beginning. Sophie what was going through your head when Niall asked you to marry him only knowing him for 4 months?
Sophie: I was so unsure about his 'big suprise' but I knew I wanted to spend my life with him because I love him so much and I couldn't have found someone better. When he hugged me at that concert in 2013 I knew he was the right one for me.
Reporter: It's been great hearing from you guys. When can we expect a date for the wedding?
Sophie: Maybe in about 9 months...
Niall: Hahahaha
