The Unknown..

The Box (part one)

"Alice, wake up!" I am awaken from my peaceful sleep by my 4 year old brother, Timothy. As I rub the sleep from my eyes, I see a bright eyed Timmy staring at me with a bright eyed smile on his face.

"How did you sleep baby bro," I say to him, "no nightmares, right?"

Timmy looks away and his smile fades quickly.

"Timmy?" I move my head so he is looking at me.

"I uhh." Timmy stutters as he says this, which is something he never does.

I wait for him to speak, and when he doesn't, I gently move him off of me so I can get out of my warm bed. I get up, get on my knees in front of Timmy and take his small hands in mine.

"Did she come back? I ask him with worry.

Timmy nods. My first instinct was to go sage his room like I did last time, but instead I just hug him.

"What did she say this time?"

"She wants me to hurt you, or she will do it for me." He whispers in a low voice that I almost didn't hear him. I pull away from the 4 year old quickly.

"She wants me to get hurt?" Timmy nods his head and starts crying. I hug him again and start to coo in his ear.

"It's going to be alright kiddo, I have a plan that is fool-proof."

He ignored what I said, pulls away from me and goes to my closet. Confusion crosses my face. Shuffles are heard from the closet until he comes out with a box and puts it on my bed. A box I tried my hardest to forget is sitting right there in my very bed. Her box to be exact.

"W-w-wht did y-you bring this o-out bro?" I stutter and immediately get chills going down my spine.

"The way she wants to kill you is in this box." He opens the box and pulls out a note. He takes the paper and tries to crumble it up without me seeing. I take the paper and read the handwriting that I used to be obsessed with.

My mouth drops open at what I just read. I look around my room and then I see it...
