The four of us quietly stood around a table. Si Hyun and Soo Ji looking distraught. I poured myself another drink and quickly gulped it down. We just graduated high school, why are so many things changing for us?

"Soo Ji, the announcement caught me by surprise." Soo Ji's what's his face commented as he approached our table. "Were you in the dark about this too?" He asked Si Hyun.

"My goodness, you should've at least given me a hint about them."

Si Hyun grabbed the jerkface's shirt and attempted to punch him, but Se Joo held him back. He hesitantly let go, "I'm leaving now."

Soo Ji grabbed his arm, "Si Hyun."

"Don't drink a lot." Si Hyun gruffly said and continued to walk away.

"I get that he's shocked, but how could he leave without saying goodbye to me?" Se Joo stared at the jerkface while Soo Ji sipped her glass of wine in annoyance. I stood quietly visibly glaring at the guy with my most annoyed face I can make.

"Shouldn't we be celebrating? Isn't this a happy occasion?" He mused.

"Ki Young," Se Joo said. "Shut your mouth if you're not going somewhere with this talk. Got that?"

"Se Joo, watch your tone with me. I'm saying this because I'm worried about you guys."

"What makes you worry about us? What do you want to know now? What would you have done if you'd known?"

"Forget it." The jerkface face said, "I wonder why my family didn't tell me about their relationship." I scoffed as he continued with his bullshit. "Had I known this, I would've told you in advance to lessen the blow. I had been so inconsiderate, I'm sorry."

"Darn it, you've got to be kidding me. Are you bragging about your family's influence now? Soo Ji's in pure torment right now." Se Joo started to raise his voice.

"If you have eyes, look. If you have a brain, know when to be quiet!" He yelled . The whole room got quiet and looked at the four of us.

"Stop it." Soo Ji said. "Go to Si Hyun." Se Joo looked at Soo Ji.

"I told you to go,"

"Call if you need anything," Se Joo walked away.

The jerkface sighed, "Gosh, what losers. They have no brains and rely on money."

I snorted, "Isn't that you?" I glared at him.

He looked at me and ignored my comment.

"Why would someone as smart as you hang out with him?"

"Lee Ki Young. A guy I know. Guys like Se Joo who has money but no brain is a loser. I'm a loser by association. What do you call people who mock them but try to befriend them?" Soo Ji asked.

I laughed and poured myself a full glass of wine. Swirling it in my cup.

"You're lashing out because you're too sensitive. Yes, I was narrow-minded for a short while. Get over it."

I walked around Soo Ji and blatantly poured my glass all over Ki Young

"So annoying," I glared at him as I walked away at the same time stepping my heel with extra pressure into his left foot.

"Ah! You bi-" Ki Young stopped himself from cursing as he noticed some eyes that still haven't left them since Se Joo yelled.

"I'm going to find Si Hyun and Se Joo, just call me once you're done talking to that 8-year old. His voice is so annoying, my ears won't stop ringing." I tsked.

As I walked out the door giving one last smile to Soo Ji I sighed. Young Lee. Ki Young is so annoying! Ugh, whatever I ruined his suit and stepped on him therefore I am slightly content.

.

I hummed as I looked for the bathroom when I heard glass shattering nearby. I looked inside curiously as to see Soo Ji holding a shard of glass in her hand.

My eyes opened wide and I started to tear up, "Unnie! What are you doing?"

Se Joo and Soo Ji's mother was also in the room. Soo Ji only looked at her mother as she clenched the glass in her hand.

Tears ran down my face, now scared for Soo Ji.

"Don't." Soo Ji's mom said.

"Put it down, Soo Ji," She continued. "Do you hear Mom's voice?"

I bit my lip watching Soo Ji as Se Joo stood next to her.

"What more must you take from me?" Soo Ji started to cry.

Si Hyun walked into the room with blood dripping down his face.

What the hell is happening right now? I tried to blink my stream of tears away and slowly approached Soo Ji.

I started to breathe harder and harder as I was starting to have a panic attack because of what was happening before me. Soo Ji . . . I didn't know you were hurting this much. I shouldn't have left her back there ugh!

"Soo Ji. What's wrong?" Si Hyun started to walk towards her, but her mom stopped him.

"No. Don't get any closer." She said.

Soo Ji started to hold her head and screamed. Si Hyun rushed to her, "Soo Ji, come on! Get a grip! I'm here. Talk to me."

"Si Hyun," Soo Ji looked at Si Hyun and let go of the glass in her hand.

"What happened to you? Are you hurt?" She touched the blood on Si Hyun's face.

"No, I'm okay. It's nothing."

Se Joo and Soo Ji's mom sighed.

"It's okay," Si Hyun said as he pulled Soo Ji into a hug. "It'll be okay."

I tried to slow down my breathing knowing that the two are safe, but I started to feel lightheaded.
