Chapter 2

I know I had a good sleep when I dreamt of nothing, meaning my brain was too tired to conjure anything soothing for me to watch while sleeping, I sniffed my nose smelling: gummy worms? I quickly opened my eyes and a fold out table was right in my eye level viewing what looked like a laptop and papers scattered on it. There was a red cord coming from the audio jack and I slowly turned my head looking up to see where it was going to: Black and Red 'Beats' headphones. I did a double take on where I was and realized: I had somehow fallen asleep on the Cecilia's lap.

"Sleeping Beauty has decided to wake up" She chuckled as she looked down at her lap staring at my face. I quickly wiped any drool from the corner of my mouth, pulling myself up quickly avoiding the headphone cord.

"I'm hungry"I began. She put her headphones around her neck, closing her laptop and arranging her papers in a neat stack.

"We're almost there, you move a lot in your sleep" she said as she put the papers back in a folded. "You kept kicking me so I moved you to sleep on my shoulder. But then my shoulder started to fall asleep and your breathing was tickling my ear so I decided to move you onto my lap."

She pulled a paper from the folder and handed it to me. "We've been reassigned to SM Entertainment. You've been hired as an English couch and a Psychologist." She rolled her eyes and yawned. "I was hired as a stylist, you know it's not what we were aiming for but it's a start." I examined the paper and banged my head into her shoulder.

"There's five different groups we've been assigned to!!." I ran my hand threw my mess of black curls making a mental note to search for more shampoo ASAP.

"Five..." She said under her breathe as I nodded. "That's just great"

I gave an emotionless stare. "Does it at least tell us who the groups are or what they look like , I'd at least like some idea of who we're working with." Cecilia widened her eyes as if she was surprised.

"Wait, it didn't say which groups??"

I shook my head. "No, just an address and the time to be there!"

"So, we're off to a terrible start" she grinned. I smirked and pulled my head up.

"Now that I actually think about it, I don't know why we're stressing this" I said in as a matter of fact voice. "Not like we're actually gonna care once we get there."

"Speak for yourself there's no room for not caring about the job" Cecilia stated

I gave her wink and adjusted myself better in my seat

Cecilia groaned. "You still don't care do you?." She gave me a pinch as she turned to the flight attendant and ordered herself lunch. I sat back in my seat feeling a headache begin, I didn't need to be stressing myself out again.

"Here." I looked down at my laid out table and on it was a sandwich, chips, and a water bottle. Looking up I saw that Cecilia had gotten the same thing and had taken a bite of her sandwich.

"It's turkey" I carefully unwrapped the sandwich from its plastic. Cecilia opened my water bottle for me and re closing it for easy access.

"You said you were hungry." She ruffled my hair laughing.

"Thanks" I said before taking a bite of my sandwich. As lunch went on, the conversations between Cecilia and I went threw all our times from school. We went to talk on about our childhood, embarrassing stories, and other things that involved each other. We started to mess around with the flight attendants as well and before we knew it, we had only 5 hours left of our flight.

I covered my mouth as I yawned looking at the screen of her laptop as the words "Titanic" appeared on the screen. Cecilia turned her head to look at me with the other ear bud in her ear saying,

"Go to sleep Kira." And without warning she took her hand to the side of my head and led it down to her left shoulder.

"But, We haven't watched this movie in forever" I said rather drowsily. "I can't...miss this....shit"

"Kira, just go to sleep." She said using her hands to playfully close my eyelids. I couldn't push the desire of sleep away letting my heavy eyelids followed her orders. After a little moment of silence I felt a smile twitching out of her cheek and a whisper saying,

"Goodnight Sleeping Beauty."

"So, you know where to go from here?" Cecilia asked as she pushed the cart filled with our luggage. I barely paid any attention to her cause I was taking in the reality that We were actually here in South Korea, physically on South Korean grounds.

"Hello, earth to Kira!" She said as she waved a hand in front of my face. I shook my head clearing my thoughts.

"Oh! Yeah, uhm, they said there should be a car for us?" I looked around and saw a bunch of chauffeur looking guys with names written in Korean. From research I remembered what our names looked like & began to search for it on the posters.

"Miss Hale?" An unfamiliar voice came up from behind me. I turned around and saw a man holding a sign with our name written in English on the poster. I nodded my head giving a bow as the chauffeur did the same. "Nice to meet you Misses I will be your chauffeur for today."

"I will take her bags miss. Thank you very much." The man took the cart from Cecilia rolling it out towards the entrance of the airport. I turned to Cecilia and we just stood there in complete silence.

"Well, this is it" I started at her. "Our new start." I stood up and gave him my best sincere smile. "It's going to be worth it."

"Of course it will, we didn't study for three years for nothing" I winked again. She gave me a bone crushing hug. "We finally did it, after years of dreaming about our perfect job."

"Yeah, it's been a bitch" I said reminding her. "But it's whatever now"

She laughed and nodded. "How many times have I heard that before?"

"As many times as you want. I'm not gonna change my mind about it anytime soon!"

Cecilia shook her head. "Yeah yeah let's go now"

We quickly walked away retracing the steps of the chauffeur. I smirked as I turned around heading towards the sleek, black car "This is going to be crazy.

"What a trip already" Cecilia said as She ran her hands through my scalp. sighing I laid my head on her lap and closed my eyes.

This was only the beginning of our trip.
