Olivia-Lynn licked her lips as she sat in a black cab, playing with the rings on her hands. To say that she was stressed out would've been an understatement. She haven't seen her friends or her sister for many years but she decided to show up uninvited to Ross' wedding. She actually found out about it by a total accident, because Emily Waltham - the bride - is her old high school friend, and if she did not live in London at this time, she probably wouldn't have decided on going. They were not close whatsoever, but when she heard that Emily got together with Ross and all of her friends came to London, she just couldn't miss that. It was kind of a suprise actually, to hear about Ross getting married for the second time - and not to Rachel. Since her older sister is now living in New York with Monica, she thought it would be just a matter of time before Ross tells how he feels since years back. This is actually kind of hypocritical to say though, because Olivia-Lynn had a thing for Chandler for an extremely long amount of time. She was head over heels for this guy, everything about him was just right to her. He never actually found out about that, what resulted in him being with Janice later on, and Olivia being heartbroken, then moving out from New York. Nobody besides her sister knew the reason for her leaving the States, but even though she left without saying goodbye, they all missed her dearly and were thinking about her very often.
Lynn adjusted the black dress that ended just above her knees and got out of the cab, looking at the venue. After taking some deep breaths she pulled on the door and got inside, seeing the one and only, Joey Tribbiani.
"I'm not good with the jokes like Chandler here" he said, pointing at his best friend, who looked more than embarassed.
"I just want to say congratulations to the happy couple. I first met Ross at this coffeehouse back home" Tribbiani continued, the smile slowly fading off his face.
Olivia-Lynn rolled her eyes. If there was something she knew about Joey, it was that he always got extremely homesick wherever he was.
"Home. New York city. Where everybody knows my name" he looked down at his glass and sighed, before remembering where he was.
"Uh, anyway... I love you guys. But not as much as I love America" Olivia laughed at the young Italian, feeling comfortable after hearing just one joke from her old friend.
She actually laughed a bit too loud to stay unnoticed, and suddenly she felt everyone's eyes on her, burning into her skin.
"Olivia-Lynn!" she heard a yell, and after a few seconds she was engulfed in a big, warm hug.
"Hi, Ross" she answered, smiling with her eyes closed.
"I missed you, bud" he replied, taking a step back and grabbing her face. This was a really emotional moment for the two. If you'd have told Ross Geller that Olivia-Lynn Green is going to show up at his second wedding after she ran away to Europe, he'd laugh his ass off at you.
Yet, there she is, right in his arms. His best friend, whom he'd missed more than anything in this world, and suddenly everything felt just right.
A few hours later, after she was greeted by everybody except for her sister and Phoebe, because they weren't there, Lynn was sitting in a massive armchair, drinking her third glass of wine, feeling dizzy as ever. She was a total lighthead, but she felt like getting drunk.
