"Oh Im sorry but what is this about?
"Its about you signing with us. So, are you free? This will only take about like, thirty minutes"

Natapos ang call at medyo na shookt ang pagkatao ko. Ilang beses na akong nagsend ng application pero wala akong call back so medyo nasurprise ako ngayon.
Kinuha ko yung gitara ko, susi ng bahay at ibinulsa ko ang phone ko. Naglagay ako ng lipstick at mascara then umalis na.
Dumiretcho ako ng SM Southmall dahil doon kami mag meet ni Gretchen. Pumunta akong Bo's Coffee.
Kinawayan ako ng isang babae na medyo chinita at naka off shoulder sya. May dala syang black na folder.
"Hi, Im Gretchen. Im glad na nameet na kita in person"
"Same here"
"Take a seat, I ordered you a frappe."
"Oh you didnt have to do that but okay"
Umupo ako sa harapan nya at nagsimula na kami magnegotiate
"So theres this new band na prinopromote namin. And we want you to be their opening act"
"Hmm okay? So they're on tour ba? Or just bars ganon?"
"Sa ngayon, puro bars pero think of this: if their fans like the opening act, we'll sign you a record deal and give you your first debut as a solo artist"
"So, parang trial and error kayo sakin ganon?"
"Look sweetie, I know this hurts pero ang musika ay isang business. We need to be sure of the artists we handle. We've seen your videos and heard your songs. Di ka namin pipiliin kung di kami sure."
"Until when is the offer up? I need time to think this through"
"You have until Sunday this week to decide."
"Okay, I'll give you a call about my decision. And can I have a background on the band? I wanna at least know on who are the people I'll be working with"
"Sure. I'll email you the files."
"I have to go, I have a gig pa."

Nag smile lang ako sa kanya at umalis. Sinimulan ko nang tahakin ang daan patungo sa bar na pagpperforman ko.
