Chapter 1

JULIE POV

I'm a 25 year old woman. I am a child of Frank Morrow and Darcy Gregory. Since childhood, I have always been spoiled by my parents.

They love me very much and all my desires are fulfilled. When dad held a dinner with his business partner, I knew a man named Paul Cameron.

He is a famous businessman aged 35 years. Since I first met him, I began to be interested in him.

His seductive smile with his sharp eyes made my heart beat fast. He treated me very politely and made me like him even more.

"Introduce this father's business partner. His name is Paul Cameron"

"Welcome to meet you"

"Introduce my name is Julie Mullins. You can call me Julie"

"I'd better go first so you can talk freely."

Dad left me with Paul. I'm very happy because this is my chance to approach Paul.

"Looks like you came here yourself."

"I'm always alone wherever I go"

"Why do you like yourself? Do you have no friends or someone who can be trusted?"

"I don't think friends are always good. Sometimes they will become your enemies when you have nothing"

I was very surprised to hear the answer that Paul gave me. Sarcastic sounds.

"Do you have a lover?"

"Beloved? I don't have and I don't want to commit to anyone"

I was very disappointed to hear his words. But I'm not desperate to get it because I know my father's struggle when he got my mother is not easy.

"I think we have something in common"

"What are things in common?"

"Me and you both don't want to commit to anyone"

"I can't believe a woman as beautiful as you doesn't want to commit to anyone"

"Believe me, I have never been committed to any man since long ago"

"I believe in your words"

"Will you be friends with me?"

Paul looked reluctant but he answered firmly.

"Alright if you just make friends I'm not a problem"

"Thank you Paul. You're very kind"

I really like looking at Paul who smiles at me. He looks very handsome and mature. Not long ago my father came with my mother.

"It seems like you are very familiar even though you have just met"

"Your daughter is very pleasant."

"Julie is indeed a pleasant woman. Since childhood, she always makes us proud of the achievements she made while at school."

I am very happy that dad praised me in front of Paul and I hope Paul likes me and makes me his lover.

"I said goodbye first. Tomorrow morning I have a meeting with business partners"

"Thank you for coming"

Before Paul left I asked for his cellphone number and he wanted to give me the contact number.

"Paul, can I ask for your contact number?"

"Save my name card."

"Thank you Paul"

"See you Julie"

I am very happy to find my adored man. I wish I could lure Paul with my beauty.

PAUL POV

Julie Mullins. A woman who is very cheerful and aggressive. There was never a woman who dared to approach me except her.

I admit Julie is beautiful and she's a perfect woman but I don't want to be too close to her because I don't want to give her more hope.

I spent time enjoying wine while looking at the view from the balcony. I don't think I can forget Julie from my mind.

Her beauty is an attraction for me and I don't want to be hurt for the second time
