Diane POV

I sit at the dining room table staring at my cereal trying to wake up. My eyes are having a war between the light and dark trying so desperately to keep me awake. The darkness starts to take over as my limbs shut down.

"You have to go now if you want to catch a certain cute motel boy." My Dad says walking into the kitchen from the bathroom. I try to look up at him, but my head won't move that far. I groan dramatically for more than one reason. Mostly because he just made those stupid brown sunflower eyes pop into my head as if it were some kind of hologram in front of my eyes.

"Dad! How did you know he lives in a motel?" I ask him and he grins at me mockingly. This is unfair! Now he's stalking me?

"I followed you following him on your way home Friday." He tells me while smiling. My cheeks heat up like feet on the sand in the middle of July. I attempt to cover my embarrassment with my fists, but he sees right through it.

I get up out of my chair and make my way to the front door, I turn to look at my father once more before leaving.

"Don't follow me, please," I tell him and he gives me a thumbs-up as he takes another sip of his coffee.

I run out of the front door so I can catch Sam on my way. He's so fascinating and he's like the literal definition of dorky-yet-cute. I've never really had a full-blown conversation with him he just one day showed up at school and told me I looked nice after this one girl told me I was the ugliest thing to ever walk this earth, it was a good day. I'm infatuated with him, he walks to school while reading his book and he always raises his hand in class, but I think he's amazing. I always thought I'd be into a guy like me, the person who sits in the back of the classroom who doodles instead of taking notes and gives the teacher sass instead of an actual answer, but for some it's him. The boy who sits in the front of the class reads on his way to class, the one who doesn't notice the fights happening right next to him, the one who never smiles.

I walk down the road until I see the motel. I start to slow down a bit to wait for him to come out of his room. As if right on cue the cute little shaggy boy walks out of his motel room. He wipes his eyes as if he had just gotten done crying. He starts walking down the road toward the school not even noticing my existence. I follow about ten feet behind him to make it look like I just happened to be walking the same way as him. Sam turns the corner to get onto the main road. As he turns the corner my stomach drops and the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. Just as I'm about to turn the corner someone grabs me and puts their hand over my mouth. Sam keeps walking and reading his book.

I bite the person's hand and slam my head into theirs. I manage to get out of their grip and turn to look at them. I see a dirty blonde haired man with gorgeous green eyes. He's so beautiful he looks like a ken doll.

"What the hell man!" I yell at him and he snorts.

"I could say the same to you. Why have you been following my brother?" He asks me and my face falls. So, he has a brother. Well, it's good to learn more about him although I wish it was under different circumstances.

"Well, uh. He's really cute." I finally manage to blurt out. The man's face softens. Now that he doesn't look like he's about to murder me I can see the resemblance.

"Oh, sorry I thought you were- Nevermind." He says looking a little embarrassed.

"Wait, is Sam in trouble or something? Do I have to kill someone, cause I totally would." I tell him and instantly wish I hadn't.

"What, no. We are just a very paranoid family." He reassures me.

"I'm Dean and I'm sorry I assaulted you." He tells me and sticks out his hand for me to shake. I stare at it for a second not knowing if I should shake his hand considering I hate physical contact. I grab his hand and shake it quickly then let go probably way to quickly.
