My eyes fluttered open to the light that touched them. I looked around the large room that was shared by other girls my age or older. I sighed knowing that Ms. Terry will be in here soon to wake us up and clean the place we sleep in for when people want to adopt a kid. I start getting my clothes on when Ms. Terry walks in with the hair put up in a bun, a skirt so tight it's a wonder that she can walk, and her red high heels.

"Come on children it's time to get up!" She speaks as if this room of a large gym, which it's not, everyone else started to move to get ready for what lays ahead. "Today we have a few new families looking to adopt so dress nicely" she walked out of the room some girls looked really happy and others had the gloom. I put up my stone face and took off my pants to put on my only dress of red. Most girls had bright colors like pink or yellow. I walked out to the breakfast room and sighed seeing the food was a mix of some strange of animals. After the barf that was served and partially eaten Ms. Terry came in and told us that there was a few families here waiting, and that we should make are way to the playroom. So I made my way to there as I did Ms. Terry spoke again.

"Could the 4-6 year olds please come this way to the toddler room and some of the older girls and boys help them out" Ms. Terry said. A girl teen walked over to me and smiled.

"Hi there I'm going to help you out okay" she said in a semi friendly voice. I nodded my head and let her take my hand, "So what's your name?"

"Um... my name is Jazmine, but you can call me Jazz," I said in my toddler way. She nodded.

"My name is Casey so how old are you?" She asked.

"I'm four, but I'm almost five," I said smiling a little. We made it to the toddler room and she had to go we waved goodbye and I thanked her for taking me here. As I walked in I saw there where a few family's here I walked over to the blocks and played with them for a bit. Then a small boy a few years older than me sat down and stared at me I looked at him he had a red shirt on, with a black long sleeve shirt, and some jeans, his hair was brown, and done with two horned spikes.

"Hello," He said his voice was strange to me, but I liked the sound. Then again my voice was strange to due to my accent. "What are you building?" my thoughts had been interrupted by his question.

"A castle." I said trying not to have my voice to mudded with my accent.

"Here let me help you... So what's your name?" he helped me build my castle.

"Jazz, What's your name," I asked placing a block down.

"Tord," he said we played for a few more hours. I got to learn more about him and he told me that him and his mom were here looking for a kid to adopt, but like all good things he had to leave his mom was calling him so he got up and walked over to her she had a pastel purple dress with a thin, yellow sweater she had the same hair color as Tord, but unlike his, her hair was all on one side with and tide there with a bow. She was very pretty. They both talked for a bit when he pointed at me. I turned to my block and played with them building other weird things and putting them into the castle. As I played I felt a hand be placed on my shoulder I looked up at the person it was Tord's mom.

"Hello" I said to her and studied her that best that a four year old can.

"Hello honey, i'm Camron lovegood. How would you live to come live with me and my son Tord?" her voice was like honey. All I could do was nod and smile. She held out the hand that was on my shoulder and I took it.

"Wait let me put my blocks away." I let go and she waited as I put my mess way so the other kids didn't get in trouble for my forgetfulness. After I got done I ran back to Ms. Camron and took her hand again. We walked out of the room and up to the front counter, Tord followed next to me smiling a toothy grin I smiled back. Ms. Camron got the adoption papers for me and signed them as my and Tord played with some toys he had in his pocket. When she got done with the papers we went out to dinner at pizza ranch.

Hours later the new small family made their way to a hotel close to pizza ranch. Jazz looked at Tord with a questioning look.

"Oh me and my mom are from Norway we came here-" Tord was cut off by his mom. He looked at her questioningly

"Hush now Tord, we came to america to adopt a child seeing as we were here on a small trip" she spoke in her smooth silky voice that could calm even the most raging child.

"Okay Ms. Camron... are we going to Norway?" Jazz asked.

Camron thought deeply, "Yes we will, but for now," she stopped for a few seconds to open the door to the hotel room and continued, "You and Tord go play and maybe he can teach you a bit of norwegian."

Tord grabbed Jazzes hand and ran into the smallish room, very quickly they made it to the two beds in the center of the room. Tord get go of Jazz, who was trying to keep from falling, and jumped on to one of the beds. Jazz climbed up the bed and sat in front of the red boy. They talked as hours passed, Tord had taught Jazz a few words like, Hello my name is, and other greetings like that.

Camron watched the with a happy expression she looked at the time seeing that it was late she told to two it time for bed. Jazz and Tord shared a bed Camron got under the blanks of the second blanket and went to turn out the lamp next to the beds.

"Mom can you sing a song" Tord questioned.
