Love at first sight

I chuck my wrapper in the bin and sit down next to Eliza. I look sideways at her and flash her a cheeky smile.
"What?" She asks, as if she doesn't know. I nod my head in the direction of Luke, who is currently talking to Justin, my older brother. "Luke?"
"Mm hmm. I know things, Eliza."
"Yeah right."
"Don't give me that sass young lady - I know you like him and you know it too."
She shrugs."Big deal."
"Yes, it is a 'Big Deal'. If you like him, you should say so! Don't make the same mistake I did."
She looks at me quizzically. "Mistake?"
Damn it. I shouldn't have said that.
"Umm... So." I sigh. "I loved someone once and.. I never told him, but someone else did..."
"Oh." She replies. "I'm sorry."
"Nah don't worry. He's really annoying now anyways."
"Reminds me of someone."
"Hey!"
"I was talking about Justin not you, dimwit!"
"Meh. That's pretty accurate."
"Hey! I can HEAR YOU!" Justin shouts from where he is talking to Luke. I stick my tongue out at him and he puts the L sign on his forehead.
"Eliza, go tell him."
"WHAT!? No way!"
I look at her, my eyes carving out her soul... nope, too deep.
"Do. It."
She stares back. "Fine, but if you embarrass me, I will hunt you down and murder you in your sleep."
"That's nice."
She gets up, walks towards Luke, then turns around and sits back down again. "I can't do it."
"Yes you can."
I shove her off the bench and lie down so she can't sit back down again. "Go."
She growls at me, then stalls towards Luke, who looks genuinely terrified. She says something that I can't hear from his far, but Luke smiles and they both laugh, so I guess it's going well. I wave to catch Eliza's eye. She looks towards me, and I give her a thumbs up. She smiles and mouths "thanks". I smile. Lucky girl. Now I'm alone, I walk round the back of the pack house and turn left at the stables, dropping a carrot into Storm's stable. Exiting the courtyard, I scrape my hair up into a messy bun before beginning to trek up the hill. I kick off my shoes and feel the damp grass between my toes. As I reach the top of the hill, I look out across the grounds. Far below I see Eliza dancing with Luke again, and Justin flirting with some girl trying to buy a drink. I look down at my feet, blinking bat the tears that no one does that to me, biting back the laughter at Justin's attempts. I gotta admit, he is pretty peng, and loads of girls like him. Lucky ducky. I look up. And freeze. Someone is sitting on my bench. No one in our pack knows about this place... In our pack.. He turns to face me, and his eyes lock on mine. I start drowning in their colour, so rich, yet so pale... an icy blue. His blonde hair hangs over his right eye. Hands tucked in his jean pockets, a manly top half covered by a grey top. Oh my god. He is so fit. But he's an outsider. To even look at each other is forbidden, and now he is walking towards me. I can't move. He looks me up and down, his gaze as physical as touch. He opens his mouth, but no words come. I'm glad to see I have the same affect on him as he does on me.
"Hey." He says. Omg. His voice is so  handsome. Is that possible? Anyway, whatever it is, I love it.
"Hey." I reply. Wow Harper. You meet an outsider who is unbelievably attractive, and the first thing you say is Hey? Way to go girl. Really cool.
"Umm I don't think you should be here..."
"I know." He said. "But I'll stay for you."
Omg. Did this unbelievably hot guy just say he would risk death for me? And we ONLY JUST MET!!!
He looks into my eyes. Into me. Gee he is so hot. I look back into him and feel.. something. Something amazing. I know what this is. But my life isn't a Disney movie. I'm not supposed to believe in this stuff. But then, I'm not supposed to be like other people. I'm the Pack Alpha's daughter. And as he leaned in to kiss me, I didn't back away. Because I believe in love at first sight.
